Mitsuri wasn't acting like her normal self nowadays. She would barely laugh when people talk at the dining table. She wouldn't start conversations. She would even wander her mind somewhere else when people are talking. Only Shinobu ever knew about her past so one day Iguro decided to talk to Shinobu. When he did, Shinobu shook her head saying "As much as I wanna know, I don't know what's wrong with Mitsuri-san". Iguro asked Shinobu what was Mitsuri's past like. Shinobu answered "Ara Ara~ You see Mitsuri-san wasn't a really cheerful girl before. She'd always doubt her strength for being a female. It was hard for her living with many siblings as well. She always wanted to find strength and love. Her parents had to die her hair black for a wedding but the wedding got canceled. She still has regrets on being a demon slayer until now.So you see she was not the cheerful girl you know." .
Iguro stood there in silence and thanked Shinobu for her help. He went out and heard crying in the room next to his. He went to check it out and saw Mitsuri sitting down trying to calm herself down. Iguro went inside and sat beside Mitsuri. Shocked, Mitsuri stopped crying for a while. She thought it was humiliating to cry in front of someone. Iguro held her in his arms and said "You can let it all out Kanroji" . Mitsuri then started crying a little bit more. After a little while she calmed down. Mitsuri got up and said "Thank you Iguro-san for helping me" .Iguro responded with "It's no problem" . Mitsuri then started to show her sweet bright smile again. Although he knew Mitsuri would be OK, for some reason his mind always reminded him of what Shinobu said. "She was not the cheerful girl you know" .
