It all began before they were born. The evil entities had taken over their kingdom, and the affiliated gang, the Death-Bringers, enforced any and every rule. The year was 3947 and the world has almost completely crumbled. Terminal city, where Harry and Amber are born and raised, is one of the 5 remaining cities in the world, as other colonies have moved to Mars and the moon.
Satanists who rule the Death-Bringers preformed powerful magic to bring these evil entities into the material world, and then they failed to control it. Instead, these entities controlled them, and the rest of the city, all 7 divisions. These entities are more commonly known to the citizen simply as demons. The demons have taken about everything from the people, and have set strict laws against them. The ones who have rebelled against the demons, are displayed on the outside of the gates, in several gruesome ways. They have been under control for 30 years, and that's where Amber and Harry come in.
