as soon as the rain poured, shelter was what we seeked
little did we know we were each other's sanctuaryas if the world was in our favor, making us our own rendezvous
here i am beside you, waiting for the rain to calm down.it wasn't awkward at all, it felt like home.
after all, you are my home."hey. how are you?"
as usual, it was always you who started conversations.
you knew how much i hated talking to people."everything's better" i replied.
"sleeping schedule?"
you remembered how much i hate sleeping.
"except that" i chuckled.should've known that you'd still ask me about the vitamins i forget to take, and my cough medicine I don't even bother drinking.
as thoughts flew and silence filled the space between us, we drifted apart. just how we did last year."in another lifetime?"
" in another lifetime."oh, he was home.
he was light,
he was life,
he was shelter.
