8:00 AM, you wake up to the sound of your phone when you get a text from your mother stating that she wouldn't be home for the next few days due to her boss. You let out a sigh of frustration as you get out of your bed .

You go to your photos app and start skimming through pictures you had from some time back, you stop on one picture of you and a ginger haired boy running in the grass "Pico" you mumble then has a flash back. You where 5 years of age and you wanted to have fun at the park, you had just moved and you didn't know anyone or anything in (city choice). You sit on a swing thinking about your other friends you had before you moved here, I mean you still had your best friend but you had others you missed to.

At that moment you noticed someone sat on the swing next to yours, he had ginger hair and mini freckles on his cheek. He looked at you and blushed. "Was someone sitting here" he asked in a shy tone, you instantly nodded "no" as your face slightly turned red.

"My name's Pico!" He said holding out his hand waiting for a shake, you stutter with your words saying.. "I-I'm (y/n) you say blushing. "Wanna push?" He says smiling, you nod yes and he hops off his swing and starts to push you.
   --10 minutes pass-

You guys play tag in a grass field chasing each other around and around, Pico pauses and noticed a full bunch of flowers he stops you and says "can I put some flowers in your hair?" You notice the full patch of (your fav flowers). You jump for joy and sit down in a grass spot.

    He starts to pick a whole bunch of flowers and brings them back to you then one by one he starts filling your hair with beautiful flowers. "DONE!" he shouts then you pull out your mini mirror and look at it. You looked beautiful he had made a full flower crown, you looked like a princess. You notice in the mirror he looked at you and started to blush, his full face red, you turn around and say " I LOVE IT" and start to do a happy dance, you both start laughing.
   
    Your mother comes over to see you guys dancing around with each other, she pulls out her phone and snaps a picture but they don't notice. Just then a man that was smoking a cigarette walked over to them "daddy look at my friend" he says, he looks at you and frowns. Your eyes widen and your start shaking in fear as you state your name "I-I'm (y/n).., he just looks back at his son. "It's time to go" he says as he grabs Pico's arm and starts to walk away. "But Daddy I was playing with her" Pico says, His dad then smacks him and says "that little brat! Why she's nothing more than a piece of Shit". You start to cry as you see your injured friend on the floor. You start to run towards him as you see his dad draw an Uzi on you
"Not another step" he says still pointing the gun at you. You look around for your parents as you instantly back up, he quickly gets in the car and they drive off.

    You run to find your mom crying, shaking, yelling in fear, you would always have that image in your head. You find your mom and run to her and grab her hand, you run to the spot where everything happened and by the time they got there it was to late, you stand there in shock as you try to explain what happened. Your mom calls the police. They investigate what happened as you give a description of the man. Apparently they've been looking for him for a long time he's got away with alot of crimes but police never caught him.
     
      As the police leave you get back in your car still traumatized all your memory seen was Pico's scared face and that gun aimed at you. Just then one of the flowers fell out of your hair ad you started thinking about him. "I'll never see him again" you say tears flowing down your eyes, and that's how you met him.
       --end of flash back-
  
    You look at the phone all teary eyed and wipe your tears as you start to dress for school.
