Chapter 14

Ymirs Pov:

We just arrived back on the island and Jean is carrying me towards the castle. He's very careful, which is kinda cute.

I'm still most surprised that he doesn't have a girlfriend yet, he's like one of the nicest guys here.

"Is it okay how I carry you or does it hurt somewhere?" He asks, making me smile a little.

"All good, thanks." I tell him while patting his chest.

"Is your wound healing?" Jean asks and I nod.

"Yeah, but still very slowly." I reply and  he sighs.

"We're here!" We hear Levi say, which makes me look away from Jean and to the front.

They then open the gate for us and we all walk inside the castle. As soon as we're inside I catch Historia looking at us and when she sees me her eyes widen.

"Ymir!" She rushes towards me and her eyes immediately fell on my wound.

"I'm okay, don't worry. I'm already healing." I tell her softly while cupping her cheek with my right hand.

"What happened?" Historia asks as she leans under my touch and places her hand on mine.

"She took a bullet for me. She-She saved my life." Sasha says, making her eyes widen.

"You're such an idiot, Ymir." She smiles at me before leaning in to kiss me softly.

Our first kiss in days..

"Wha-Why am I an idiot now?" I ask and pout at her.

But she just chuckles softly. "You're always putting others first, I love that about you. But try to be more careful next time, okay? I don't think I could handle to loose you again." Historia says, making me look down ashamed.

"I'm sorry." I mumble but my head is immediately lifted by her hand.

"Don't die on me. We still have to get married." She says, which makes me smile widely.

"Yeah, right." Historia leans towards me again and presses her lips against mine for the second time, but this time our kiss was longer and deeper.

"Okay look, I love that you two are happy but please don't make out while I have to watch." We hear Jean say and we both start to chuckles, which makes her pull away.

"So..who did this to you?" Historia asks while raising an eyebrow and placing her hands on her hips.

Man she looks hot when she does that..

"I did." The little girl, who's name is apparently Gabi says.

Historia immediately turns to her and her eyes widen when she sees her. I guess she didn't expected her to be a kid.

"I-I didn't mean to shoot her. I-I was just hoping if I shoot I'd hit Eren Jaeger. Because of him so many people died, my best friends died. I-I just wanted revenge. I-I've never meant to shoot her, especially when I found out she's one of ours." Gabi says and Historia slowly walks over to her after she was finished.

"Just because she was one of yours doesn't mean that everyone else on that ship would've deserved it. Everything that happened to you, happened to us nine years go. Just that our Eren was Reiner and Bertholdt." She tells her and Gabis eyes widen.

"You kids don't know what we all been through because of that day. I've heard you call us the devils of paradise but do we really look like devils?" She asks, on which Gabi looks around.

"You can hate Eren as much as you want, I don't blame you. I'd probably hate him too if I'd be in your shoes but that doesn't mean that everyone is bad. How about we show you two that we're not like you think you are?" Historia says and both of the kids eyes widen.

"Why are you so nice to us?" The boy, Falco asks confused.

"That's just how she is.." I say as I walk over to them with crunches that someone just had handed me.

"She would never hurt a soul, she's just too sweet and caring for that." I continue and now I'm standing next to Historia, smiling down at her.

"Well..unless she gets really angry." I add, which makes her laugh.

"And..she just wants to show you that what you think of us or what you've been taught about us is wrong. Pretty much everyone here is really nice. Well..except a few people of course.." I cough, "Floch." I cough again.

"Hey!" I hear Floch exclaim angrily, making us all laugh.

"So..are you giving us a chance?" I ask and the kids glance at each other before nodding slowly.
