HOW TO GROW WINGS!
Step 1- Research

You'll need basic research, of course; look into different wing movements, how birds clean their feathers, feather structure, wing anatomy, and become familiar with it all. Look into muscle and how the tendons work. Take a look at this database of wing photos if you need help finding wing type or visualizing the way they look!

Step 2- Your Prayer, Ritual, or Spell (if your under 18 dont do this without permission!)

When creating your spell to use, avoid commonly used rituals like "Maximum ride 13 spell" Your ritual, prayer, or whatever you may call it, should be yours, not someone else's. If you use someone else's, often you will not get into the wing mindset, which is crucial when you are doing your spell or prayer. Remember to call upon any gods that have importance to you, get your message out into the universe, and make sure your words and intention are clear and true.

Visualization is one of the best things to practice and use within your ritual. Practice scenes such as your wings growing from your back, you flying with your wings, as well as just existing with them. These should excite your phantom wings, or start to form them, and it will help keep your mind focused.

Drilling truths and phrases into your head is also another good way to really get your mind into the wing-growing mindset. Do not refer to your wings as separate entities, but rather a part of you. Saying things such as: "I am an avian", "My wings will grow from my back", "I am growing my wings", "I will fly with my wings", are all very vital phrases. Yes, they're cheesy, but it will really help you and your brain to cement the fact that you want wings, and that you are growing them into your daily life.

Step Three-

Integrating wings into your daily life.

When you start growing wings, you have to keep your brain into it. Whenever you have the chance visualize your feathers flowing in the breeze. When you walk, visualize your wings on you and moving with your body movements. You will need to practice daily visualization in order to keep your wings growing. When you stretch, visualize your wings stretching too.

If it will help you, form permanent phantom wings. Even if you do not have permanent phantom wings, still act as if your wings are there. Avoid leaning against hard surfaces, laying on your back (it gets painful further and further into wing growth), and generally be mindful of your wings and the space they take up. Permanent phantom wings make this easier, as they will naturally react to these scenarios. (phantom wings are when you feel your wings, but they are not there.~Kei)

When bored, move your wings. I like to visualize mine wrapping around me, and then I open my eyes and with my third eye I can see my wings as if they were truly physical. Whenever I am near my friends, I wrap my wings around them. I sometimes will just feel my wings beat whenever I'm bored or tired, as a natural response to keep me awake. I also like to visualize myself in third-person, with my wings, as I go throughout the day.

This reminds me that I have wings, I already am an avian - I just need my wings physically.

Wing Growth

Symptoms:
Back aches and pains
Eating more than usual
Pain near the lungs
Aching in the limbs
Decreased flexibility
Having "phantom" wings often

The first noticeable sign of wing growth occurs when the shoulder blades begin widening and getting much smaller. This is to allow room for the muscles and bones to begin growing. You will also notice an upside down V, which is your skin stretching to allow muscle to form. Normally you start seeing this occur 3-7 months after you activated the process.
