Han Solo, the laid back, witty smuggler and his posse. A Wookiee, and a girl, both of whom Han rescued from slavery.
The three of you were on a last minute spice run. Apparently, someone of higher status was scheduled to pick up a crate himself, but things got risky, so he had to hire some help to get it.
While you and Han were going to retrieve the crate, Chewie was staying back to repair the ship.
It had sustained some minor damage from an asteroid, but it would only take an hour or two to repair.
After gathering some items, Han and yourself set off to the location.
The planet was dreadful. Weather was cold, with a slight mugginess to the air. Streets were damp, and reflected what light they could from neon signs that crowded store fronts.
Buildings were run down, and covered in graffiti. To add on to that, there was this fog that clouded every turn, making it hard to expect what was coming next.
You followed Han as he guided the two of you to wherever this crate of spice was. There seemed to be lots of alleys that you were turning down which would make for easy transport to the ship, but was not good for unwanted attention.
You could feel eyes on you and Han from every angle.
"Why do we always end up in places this? Why can't we ever go to an island planet, or somewhere... nice," you said just loud enough for Han to hear.
"I know these places ain't pretty, but we'll be out of here in no time," he replied.
You sighed, and continued walking.
The alleyways seemed to have less and less people the farther you went.
Finally, you reached your destination. It looked to be a back entrance of sorts, but instead of a practical door, there was a curtain of beads.
"Ok, you stay out here and keep watch. I won't be long," Han told you.
"Are you sure? I really don't like the looks of it out here," you said nervously.
"You'll be fine. Just yell if you need me," Han said, before heading in.
A sigh left your lips as you turned around, and leaned against the wall.
You paid close attention to the few people around you, and made sure your hand was close to your blaster at all times.
After a few minutes, you were getting bored. Nothing was happening.
The alleyway was now empty, besides the occasional person or two that would make their way through.
But, then something did start happening.
There was slight shouting coming from inside the building. Standing up straight, you positioned your self just outside the doorway.
Then you heard a single blaster shot, before hearing a cacophony of back and fourth firing.
You ran inside, ready to fight, but shortly after you had entered, a blast was already flying past your face.
A jump behind a pillar that was connected to a wall, secured your safety temporarily.
Peeking around subtly, you were trying to find Han, until you heard shuffling next to you. Whipping around, you aimed your blaster to where the noise had been coming from.
