Y/n's POV
We had just made it back to the walls from our recent expedition. I was writhing in pain. Everything was going well until a titan had grabbed my wire. Mikasa had killed the titan but I was flung to the ground harshly. I've got atleast a couple broken bones.
"Please hold on Y/n, we'll be at HQ soon" Mikasa said worriedly
~Time Skip~
Turns out I had broken my right arm and right leg
I watched the door open. I saw Mikasa walking over to me. My heart started beating quickly as I watched her sit down next to me
"I'm so sorry, you're in this condition. Had I been quicker you wouldn't be so injured" She said. I smiled weakly
"It's fine" I said. She then lifted up my shirt so she could see my stomach. I felt my face heat up
"Don't worry I'm just cleaning your wounds" She said
"Okay" I said. I then felt a stinging sensation from the cuts I had gotten from the fall
"Mikasa.." I muttered
"Oh sorry, I forgot to mention that this will hurt" She said. She continued cleaning my wounds. Every now and then, I would let out a groan of pain. I looked at Mikasa as she did her thing
She looks so beautiful. Her black hair and black eyes... the scar on her cheek... If only she were mine... I would be the happiest woman in the world...
I stared at Mikasa, completely entranced by her when she looked up. She had caught me staring. I felt a sudden wave of confidence appear
"Mikasa, I like you" I said. Mikasa's eyes widened as her jaw slightly dropped. It took her a couple of seconds to process my words. When she did she started blushing
"I-" She began
"It's fine if you don't like me back. We can stay friends. I don't mind either way. Just being around you is enough" I said with a smile
"I like you too!" She said as she looked away. Now it was my turn to be shocked. I used my left arm to clean my ear
"Did I hear that right?" I asked
"Yes you did" She said. A smile appeared on my face as she continued cleaning my wounds. Eventually she finished and we just sat in silence
"So.. after my arm and leg heal.. want to go on a date?" I asked
"I would like that very much" She said bashfully.
Mikasa doesn't show much emotion around people unless it concerns Eren.. this sight... it's refreshing...
"You know you look cute when you blush" I said with a smirk
"What... the.... heck" Another voice said. We turned to see Eren with his jaw dropped
"That's my fucking sister!" Eren yelled. I flipped him off and Mikasa laughed. Eren was fuming. It was like smoke was coming out of his ears
"Oh yeah you guys are related" I said. He crossed his arms as he continued to release steam
"Mikasa... I think there's an injury on my lips... could you inspect it..?" I asked with a smirk as I stared at Eren. Mikasa caught on
"Of course Y/n" She said as she got closer to my face. She was now close enough. I shot my head up and kissed her. She instantly kissed back. Shortly after we broke apart, I turned and looked at Eren. He was on the ground, passed out from a malfunction. Seems he got too angry
