It has been a few weeks now, I have constructed my house and everything inside it, I have done everything I can to make myself feel at home many people keep asking me questions about my home, what sparta is and how im so strong, the truth is even I don't know, I was always strong many people thought I was a demi god but I don't know. I had woken up early today to get in a quick training session.

twigs snapped beneath my feet, the wind rustles through the leaves and I ready my bow and arrow and aim for my target, deer about 110 feet away from me, as a spartan I need to be sharp and to kill the soul ripper I need to be better.
the creek of my bow string silenced as I pulled it back I lined up the shot, holding my breath I let the arrow fly. It soared through the air not making a sound it stayed true to it's target at and pierced the deer's heart killing it quickly, I quickly made my way over to it to collect my bounty.
I lent down and skinned the deer, I'll use it for some sheet when the nights get cold "nice shot" I heard a voice say, I turned around to see Astrid holding her axe against her shoulder "mhm" I replied coldly "been a hunter long?" she asked "my whole life" I replied " what's your best kill" she asked "why do you now want to get into my personal life? my past is none of your concern" i replied "the real question is why are you so distant?" she asked, before i could even reply she began talking again " you refuse any help, build your house on the beach away from everyone, you don't eat with anyone, you built your own house for Odin's sake" she said "the less I attach myself to this place the less danger you are all in" I replied "what does that mean?" " I have many enemies, some that would travel far and high to kill me, I do not need another land running in blood haunting my dreams" I answered.
"Lets play a game" astrid offered "I am not a child" I replied picking up my deer "fine then, a competition, you say Spartans are impressive fighters and warriors. Prove it" she said with a smirk, she won't leave me alone. I have no choice "fine. what is the bet?" I asked, astrid dropped used her weapon to draw a square around us both in the snow "three rounds, no heavy punches and wrestling is allowed, pushed out the square you lose, last one standing you win" she said "this is child's play" I told her dropping the deer "if you win you don't have to talk to me or anyone ever again, if I win, which I will, you have to start eating in the main hall" she said "fine. deal" I said agreeing to her terms.
I assumed my stance and she did the same, immediately she kicked snow in my face temporarily blinding me, she followed up with a swift kick to the gut and punch to jaw, nothing heavy just like she said, I stupidly swung and using my own momentum she swept my leg knocking me on my back "ha! one-zero" she gloated "very well, you want to play like that?" I asked.
As the second round started I was on the attack, I feint a jab and threw my knee to her side crushing her ribs, but again like she said nothing heavy, I quickly moved behind her and kicked the back her knee knocking her down to one knee, I followed up with a light uppercut knocking her to the floor cementing my win "one all" I said.
"Last round" I told her "yeah, yeah I know" she said holding her jaw, the third and final round had started, we can at each other locking our hands in an unfair test of strength, I began to slowly bend her wrist back but she was quick, she placed her foot on my hip and rolled backwards tossing me over her head, I landed on my knee "im still in this fight" she said "I know" I replied, I dashed at her tackling her to the ground, quickly she grabbed my shoulder and flipped me over, she was on top of me, she began to throw punches into me, thinking fast I grabbed her face and pushed her off me, still holding her face I slammed her into the ground, I let go off her face and she tried to pull the same move as before but I was more than ready, she threw a punch witch I caught, with her spare arm she tried to do the same but again I caught it, pinning her arms above her head I claimed my victory.
"I win" I told her still pinning her to the floor, a red tint blush covered her cheeks "y-you can let go off me now" she said embarrassed, I realised I was still holding her down, I quickly let her go and offered my hand to help her up, she accepted, "you fight beautifully" I told her "thanks, not too bad yourself" she replied, I chuckled a little "was that a chuckle I heard? its been 5 weeks and no emotion, what changed?" she asked "that was a fun game" I told her "I thought you 'were not a child'" she said mocking my tone "do not mock me woman. we are not that close yet" I sternly said "yet? so there's a chance of you actually acting normal?" she asked, flustered i just picked up my deer and began to walk off.
.
. Later that day
.
The nights of berk although cold are a sight to behold, the bitter wind and beautiful sky were the perfect juxtaposition, I had dried the meat out and began to cook it and astrid's words echoed in my head 'still a chance you can act normal?' I stopped cooking the meat "maybe it's time to have a little bit of normal astrid was talking about", put my wolf jacket on and began my small journey to the main hall.
as I made my way through an empty berk I came, finally, too the large wooden doors of the main hall, I took a deep breath and opened the doors and the bustling, loud hall fell silent. i walked up to the feast, my footsteps echoing through the room, I grabbed a plate grabbed as much food as the plate could handle and sat on a table on my own, I then heard lighter footsteps and a plate placed in front of me, I looked up to see astrid now sitting opposite me, she smiled at me, it was warm... genuine and I returned with a small smile, a silent smile between comrades.
