Jungkook woke up with a huge smile on his face. Yesterday his boyfriend of 1 year finally made love to him. It meant Jimin finally and completely accepted him. Jungkook was indeed happy - he felt like Jimin and he just got married

Jungkook often had one night stands before he fell for Jimin. He never felt the need to have a relationship and he always wanted to fulfill his carnal desires until Jimin of course. Jimin changed him into the best version of the person he could be. He never knew happiness and love would feel this way until he met the boy 

Jimin didn't want to date Jungkook because of their difference in status but the man could be charming and Jimin really liked the way he felt when he was around the man who made him feel special. Jungkook though arrogant about his status and money at first, understood Jimin and changed for the better 

Jungkook was behind Jimin for 7 months before Jimin let Jungkook date him. Jungkook was from a rich family and Jimin - middle class.

Jungkook's dad had left his mom for another woman when he was a baby. His mom single handedly raised the baby and built up her own company. She loved Jungkook and Jungkook loved her. They only had each other

Jungkook turns his head to the side to look at Jimin with a smile, only for the smile to fade when he sees Jimin stare blankly at the ceiling with tears rolling down his face 

"Baby what happened!?" Jungkook panics 

"..I want a break up" Jimin says making Jungkook's eyes widen 

"...What?!" Jungkook chuckles "...you are  joking right!"

"No... you ... I was just using you....  I don't love you... I wanted sex and I got it so we are done now"

"I… I don't believe you…"

"Believe what you want Jungkook…" Jimin groans a bit as he sits up "...now get out!"

Jungkook was upset. Jimin kicked him out. The boy wouldn't listen to anything Jungkook had to say. 

Jungkook felt used. Their first time and the next day he was kicked out. He left all alone.

He couldn't even tell his mom anything. He was afraid it would stress her. Jungkook's mom had suffered a heart attack recently  and the doctors have told her that any stress could be dangerous for her. Jimin was all that he had and now Jimin broke up with him

Jungkook couldn't understand why. If Jimin really wanted to break up then why make love that night.

Jimin ignores Jungkook in college and it hurts the man. The people who used to bully Jimin before the boy dated Jungkook, started bullying him again when they understood that Jungkook and Jimin are not a couple anymore. 

They tease the boy to the core but Jungkook does nothing but walk away when he does happen to see it. It hurt Jimin but he practically asked for this to happen 

Though there was one person, Jungkook's close friend Taehyung who tried to protect Jimin as best as he could

Jungkook gets depressed seeing Jimin everyday and not being able to protect him. He was the one who asked Taehyung to help Jimin. He couldn't bring himself forward to help the boy as he felt Jimin wouldn't want that 

His mom gets worried. Jungkook had stopped eating or smiling. 

"Honey what's wrong?"

His mom's sweet voice brings Jungkook to tears as he places his head on his mom's lap and cries 

"He left me …. Jimin said he loved me… he made love to me… and then he left me… mom… like I was a cheap prostitute… Am I a bad person? Is that why dad left me as well?"

Jimin cries himself to sleep every night but he knows he can't be with Jungkook and he knows he can't tell the man the truth of the break up

His mom apologizes 

"I'm sorry kook ah… it's my fault why Jimin broke up with you…"

what was she thinking... Jimin had been nothing but the best for her son but her recent heart attack and her need to secure her son's future weighed on her mind heavily that she forgot that even if Jimin might not match their family in status, Jimin  definitely was the only one who would love her son unconditionally

Flashback

"Mrs Jeon, what are you doing here?" Jimin asks surprised seeing the lady outside his apartment 

Jimin prepares her some tea before sitting down next to the quiet lady 

"How much do you love Jungkook?"

"...I.."

"Tell me…"

"I love him a lot… with my whole heart…" Jimin says with a soft smile 

"Will you do anything for him?"

"Of course…"

"Then break up with him"

"W-What?"

"I'm dying Jimin…" the lady cries "...I only have him and I need to make sure he has his future set...the doctors have told me to stop working… I won't be able to provide for my son anymore… I want him to marry someone from a well established family before news gets out that my company will be taken over by someone else …. You have to leave him… for his future and his happiness… please… I can't be happy till I see him settled down… please… if you love him… I can't die without seeing his marriage..please ..let him go…"

"Mom...why did you do that!" Jungkook starts crying "...my poor baby…"

"I'm sorry honey… go… go to Jimin… I'm sorry I stopped you from being with your true love...I know how much it hurts to be betrayed by the one you love… I'm sorry I didn't think of your feelings.. I'm sorry for being selfish…" his mom cries

Jungkook hugs his mom "...you are not selfish, mom… I get it… I get why you did this… but you also need to accept the fact that money isn't everything… but love… that is what matters the most…"

Jungkook runs to Jimin's apartment. It was their college break for a week now. 

Jungkook hugs the boy as soon as Jimin opens it 

"I love you. Don't leave me. Mom told me everything" 

Jimin sobs as he hugs the man back after hearing this- how much he missed Jungkook. How much he wanted to take back all the things he said that day

They sat on the bed cuddling. Jungkook drew invisible circles on his back as Jimin rested his head on his chest 

"Why did you sleep with me that night if you were going to break up with me?" Jungkook asks suddenly 

"I...I wanted my first and last to be with you…" Jimin says softly making Jungkook's heart beat faster "...and I wanted to show you ...how much I love you...and will always love you.."

Jungkook cups the boy's face before pecking his forehead 

"I love you Jimin"

"I love you too Jungkook"
