The day was bright at my school. It was the day that we do gardening, a subject that I didn't entirely like but I rather do it than speech. As we all had to wash our hands using one sanitizer, kids began going crazy as if the bottle was a tv on 99 percent off during Black Friday. Confused, I just waited my turn until heard kids saying the word "coronavirus" or "covid"
Right before when we were supposed to do math, my teacher told us that we must pack up, staple lessons in our notebooks, and get ready for online-schooling. I hadn't had much of a reaction but "Ok. Cool; I don't have to have social interaction." But it was much more than that.
During lunch, some of my friends and I had been talking about the whole ordeal. I, of course, was worried for them, so I wrote down on a sticky note, my number. As the day came to a close, everyone hugged other friends, saying "See you soon."
This covid was confusing, to be honest. I mean, how could some natural virus be so deadly?!
That's when I got into my conspiracy that it was man-made.
One Year Later
Sitting in bed, I was playing roblox, a game I began to become addicted to. I watched my clock intently, waiting for 7 am. It was only 4 am. I decided to look up some stuff. You know, normal Quill stuff like memes and other ways to waste my life away.
9 am. I was in school. Online school of course. My friends and I had done some chatting on another platform, of course not paying attention much. I turned my camera off for a split second to apply a patch for my acne. I put the camera back on.
3 pm. I was drawing, for I had already gotten out of school. I was drawing a comic for Mother's Day, needing to do 5 pages per day (god help me.)
I decided to hop onto the internet to search for ways to come out. Really, nothing worked much. I then thought about my life choices; how could life turned out for me if I hadn't realized I was lgbtq?
