Title: Woke Up Late

Y/n's POV

I woke up to my alarm clock going off. I groan as I whack my alarm clock off the table. It shuts off and I go back to sleep

*Ring Ring*

I inhale loudly as I open my eyes

Who is that?

I roll over and grab my phone. It was my boyfriend Colt. I press and answer and put the phone up to my ear

"Y/n, where are you?" He asks

"In bed" I say

"Y-Y/n! We have class in 10 minutes!" He says frantically. My eyes open as I sit up.

"10 minutes?!" I ask

"Yeah! I'm outside waiting for you! Hurry up!" He says. I hang up the phone and jump out of bed. I quickly get ready in the first pair of clothes I find. I then head to the bathroom and brush my teeth. I also put on deodorant. I make sure my hair looks presentable. I then rush out and grab my phone. I leave my room and put on the first pair of shoes I see. I open the front door and see Colt waiting in his car for me. I run to car and open up the passenger door. I get in and buckle myself. Colt doesn't start driving

"What are you doing?! We have like 8 minutes!" I say

"Y/n, those are slippers" He says. I look down to see I'm wearing slippers. I groan as I unbuckle myself. I open the passenger door and rush back inside. I change shoes and head back to Colt's car. I buckle myself in and close the passenger door. He puts the car in drive

"I suggest you hold onto the handle" He says as he slams on gas peddle. I grab onto the handle for dear life.

"You idiot this is a neighborhood!" I yell at him as he speeds through

"Sorry! I'm not showing up late to Mr. Ackerman's class. He'll kill me!" Colt says as he continues speeding out of the neighborhood

"You won't have to worry about him killing you because you'll already be dead by the way you're driving!" I yell

"It's not my fault you woke up late!" He says as he makes a huge left.

I'm gonna die

"Relax! I got this!" He says

If I die, don't let my parents go through my phone

He puts a hand on my thigh to try and reassure me as he's going like 80 mph

"BOTH HANDS ON THE WHEEL!" I yell at him. He retracts his hand and puts it back on the steering wheel.

~Time Skip~

2 minutes left till class starts. We both exit his car

"You're so lucky a cop didn't pull us over" I say

"But we'll be on time" he says as we head to the entrance of the school.

"I'm never letting you drive again" I say

"Your driving skills are worse than mine" He says

"I drive much better than you!" I say

"Yeah okay darling" He says as he rolls his eyes. An irk mark appears on my forehead as I whack him upside the head

"Y/n L/n! That behavior is not acceptable here!" A voice says as we walk through the hallways. I turn around to see Principal Erwin. I can feel Colt smiling at me smugly

"Sorry" I say

"It's alright, don't do it again" He says as he walks off. My eye twitched as I turned towards Colt.

"I'm gonna kill you after school" I say

"Okay, I look forward to it" He says with a wink as he enters his classroom

~Time Skip~

School has ended. Today was terrible. I left all my stuff at home. I wait outside by Colt's car. I see him approaching with a smile on his face.

"Hey there Y/n!" He says as he unlocks the car

"Hi" I say as I enter the passenger seat. He instantly notices my foul mood from the response. He enters the driver's seat

"What's wrong love?" He asks concerned

"I left all my stuff at home so I couldn't take notes. I have like 4 tests on Friday" I say as I bang my head against the dashboard
(Is that what its called?)

"Oh.. it's fine, I took all the notes. I'll stay at your house so you can copy them" He says as he backs out of the parking spot

"Really?" I ask

"Of course" He says with a smile

"Thank you, you're a life saver" I say

"That's quite the contrast from this morning" He says laughing

"I wonder why...? Maybe it's because you, I don't know TRIED TO KILL ME!" I say with an unamused face

"I would never kill you, I love you too much" he says as he smiles at me.
