The coffee shop was more crowded than it usually was. I have never seen it this busy before, especially on a Saturday morning. I guess people had places to be and places to go, but it was still weird for me.
I heard the door opening and the sound of the busy streets, and then it suddenly went away indicating that someone else had come into the shop, making it even more crowded than it was before.
I heard the shop suddenly go quiet. It was quite weird if you ask me seeing as there were so many people in the shop to begin with and suddenly it went all quiet. I heard quiet gasps and little squeals and it hit me that the last person that walked in must have been some sort of celebrity. Living in California and all this wasn’t something that wasn’t seen a lot.
“Excuse me, sorry, pardon me.” The voice said from behind me, gradually getting closer. The voice was male so it was definitely a male celebrity. Not that I really care or anything. I had to get out of there with my coffee right away.
“Sorry,” the voice said from behind me and cut right in front of me just as I was about to take my order. I looked at the figure in front of me with his sweat pants and hoodie on. I don’t get how he could be in that right now when it’s likes one hundred degrees outside. “Can I get a –“
I interrupted him before he could continue his order. “I’m sorry, but who the hell do you think you are cutting in front of me like that?” I asked him rudely. He ignored me and he went silent. The whole coffee shop was now staring at me, telling off whoever this was. He pulled his hoodie back and took off his sunglasses revealing those familiar eyes.
“Oh it’s you,” he rolled his eyes. “I have to be somewhere and I needed a coffee, is there a problem?” he raised his eyebrows and I scoffed. He is such an arrogant twat. “Listen here, buddy. Just because you’re some popular teen heart throb doesn’t give you the right to cut in line because you have to be somewhere. I have to be somewhere too, but I don’t get any special treatment.” I spat venomously. He cocked his eyebrow upward and then looked at me from head to toe and then smirked. “I’m sorry, but do you know who I am?” he chuckled to himself and leaned forward to me, looking directly into my eyes. “I always get special treatments.” He leaned back with the same smug look on his face and he turned around, ordering his drink.
I stood there looking at him, wanting to smack that look off of his face. I was furious, outraged, pissed off, everything else that had to do with being angry, I was it. I can’t believe people let celebrities walk all over them.
And all of those things said about how the fame has gotten to him, is so true. When I first liked him (which was clearly back when I had horrible taste) he was such a nice guy, but now he’s just a complete asshole.
Not to mention I have to deal with all of his bullshit 24/7 because he is my freaking neighbour. Did I mention that? No? Well now you know.
After a few minutes he got his drink and turned around and smirked at me. “Sorry sweetheart,” and then he was gone. I watched him leave the coffee shop and shook my head at him, not wanting the coffee any more. I wanted to give him a piece of my mind. I got out of line and followed him down the streets.
“Hey!” I yelled after him. He just continued to walk peacefully down street not having a care in the world. “Are you fucking me right now?” I yelled after him and he turned around, meeting my gaze. I sped up and finally caught up to him and he groaned, taking off his sunglasses and sliding them into the front of his shirt.
“Look, I’m sorry for cutting in front of you,” he said in the most monotone voice ever. His face had an extremely boring expression on it and this was just many of the things I hated about him.
