Laura's Misfortunes

6-Camping Trip!

Laura and her 4 friends, Crystal, John, Trey, and Marcus went on a camping trip right after Laura finished her summer school.

"Laura, go get some fire wood while we set up the tents." "kay"
She began to walk towards the forest stepping into the deep, dark nest without worry. She saw a black streak race across the bushes before a tiny rustling sound made its way to her ears.

'Wow! It must be a squirrel! I watch many movies to know' Laura thought smiling to herself before continuing to walk looking for fire wood.
She heard a low growl and thought that it must be her imagination and picked up some sticks. 'This place is free of bears so it's all good. After all, what could go wrong'

Laura bent over getting some stones when behind her more shuffling was heard and growling noises came closer. She hummed a tune to tone it out before a big growl came and sharp claws almost came in contact with her back. She gasped turning around to see a baby brown bear and she started to make a run for it.

"Guys! Guys! We were mistaken! I saw a HUMONGOUS brown bear just now!!!It's coming right now! *looks behind* I-It was just chasing me...huh...I swore it was right behind me...well anyways! Let's get this firepit set up still!" They all nodded taking the wood and starting to rub them together. A loud growl was heard in the distance. 'I guess I was too fast for the bear aHaHa it couldn't keep up with me! I'm so fast, I should try out for track!' I quietly cackled to myself.

"GROWLLLL!" Me and my new friend began to play tag..oh? What is this? She brought more friends for us to play with! I began to run towards them who were making a fire before they started screaming like crazy pointing at me. I stopped and looked at them before coming closer and they all started to run.

'No fair! You guys got a head start' I thought trying to catch up to them. They split up and I followed the black haired one from earlier.
"Growl!" "Ahh!!!!!!"

So I lost track of all of them. 'Oh! Now we're playing hide and seek!' I began to look for them.

Laura and the rest of the group found each other again and huddled up.
"What the?" "We just ran away from a bear" "I thought this place was bear free!" "Didn't we all"
"I KNEW I WASN'T CRAZY!"
They sat in one of the tents covering down with blankets.

"So who has the food?" "What?" "I didn't bring the food" "same" "neither did I" "Marcus, I told you to bring the food" "No, you told Ashley" "we don't know anyone named Ashley!" "John?" "I don't remember anyone telling me to bring food" "Crystal, where's our food" "I never had any food :/"

"..."

"..."

"..."

"..."

"So we're stuck in a forest with a loose bear who's trying to kill us; we got no food, water, and the tent's probably going to blow away by morning."
"We'll go home tomorrow."

"WhAt Do YoU mEaN tHe CaR hAs A fLaT tiRe?!" "Marcus, go and catch us some fish. Day 2 alone in this forest starts now"

Marcus walked towards the sea with a fishing rod. 'Fish sticks, I'm bout to go catch some fish sticks~'
2 Hours Later
'Fish sticks taste good, but man, who knew they were so hard to catch; make it worse, I have to kill the fish sticks after I bait them in...they better come bread crumbed'

"Did Marcus come back yet? We're still waiting for breakfast" "Laura, how about you go catch us some food, I'll go get some berries" John said standing up as they both entered the forest going their own seperate ways.

'Oh! I see some red berries right over there!' John bent down getting ready to pick them up before he heard some familiar rustling in the leaves.
'No. No, no, no, no, no, no, nononononono!' He fell on his back backing up until he hit the bushes as the bear started to approach him.

He closed his eyes holding his hands up in defense.
The bear stood in front on him and curiously bent down next to him grabbing the berries, eating them before standing up right in front of John who now decided to open his eyes.

"Ah! What's that red stuff dripping down your chin!? You must have eaten Marcus!" John scrambled to his feet, running away.

"So you didn't get any food-" "ya'll! I found some mushrooms!" Laura entered their camp site holding purple mushrooms with white spots on it.

She handed one to each person and they took a lick at it. "Hm....taste good!" They all said beginning to dig it.

"Anyone else feel dizzy"

"tired..."
