Chapter 22

Previously -
After a couple of hours of talking Lauren wanted to go somewhere new so she zoomed us to a new place, " Open your eyes baby " she said as my feet touched the ground and i did what she said to see a whole lite up city in front of me " Where are we?" i asked and she smiled pointing to my view " New York City " she said " Are we where i think we are " i said looking down the railing from the tall place we are in " The statue of liberty, yes baby " i smiled and held her hand tight " I wanted to ask you something " she said looking at me in my eyes " Yes?" i said giving her my full attention " So you are 18... i am... well i look like i am 19 " she said and i nodded " I know we are going to spend the rest of our lives together Camila " she said " Your my sould mate " i nodded again " So i wanted to bring up.. before you got older, if you wanted to ... turn " she said and i looked at her confused " You already turned me babe " i said and she giggles " No baby " she said putting her hands on my neck " Into a vamp " she added and i stood there shocked " How long have you been thinking about this?" i asked and she shrugged " Its been in the back of my mind i guess " she shrugged and i looked down " What about my family Lauren!" i said and she sighed " I know trust me... but i cant loose you " she said seriously and i looked out to the city of new york with a million thoughts running threw my mind. " Well Lauren... " i said sighing " I think.... "

Camila POV
"I think...... That I need to seriously think about this Lauren" I said to my girlfriend and she sighed "okay, just really think Camz" I nodded and Lauren wrapped her arms around my running her fingers threw my hair "Would you like me to take you home baby ? " She whispered and I nodded slowly. Lauren zoomed ups back to my house and we stood at the front door. I felt so bad for not giving her an answer, I feel like it was hard for her to ask this. "Well I'll see you tomorrow babe ?" She said and I nodded "I will text you alright ?" I said and she smiled kissing my forehead.
"Be safe honey" she said and I nodded. She turned to walk away and I didn't know what to do.... I didn't want her to leave like this. "Baby!" I said and as she turned around I kissed her hard. "Woah" she mumbled on my lips "good night" I said and kissed my hand "I love you so much" she said bringing me into one last hug " I love you too"
I walked to my door and I leaned against it watching Lauren zoom away. I sighed and unlocked the door opening it took see my mom about to walk up the stairs with a sleeping Sophie. "How was your date?" My mom asked and I shrugged "It was alright just a little date nothing major" I said and she nodded placing Sophie into her bed "Anything you want to talk about?" She asked and I shook my head quickly "nope, good night Mami" she waved by and I slipped into my room.
I collapsed on my bed taking a deep breath in and I stared at my phone thinking of the text I'm going to send Lauren tomorrow.
Will it say yes or no.... Do I want to turn? ... I walked over to my desk after changing into some pj's and made a Pros and Cons list, It was the only thing I could thing of!

_ 2 days later_ 

I have not spoken to lauren since the other night since i really dont know what to do. I spoke to Dinah and she said to follow my heart, she thinks i should do it because Lauren and I are soulmates... she said we are going to be together forever but i dont understand how she knows this information. I texted Lauren an hour ago that we would meet tonight at the beach since that is where we love to be. I took a deep breath as i looked into the mirror calming myself down, thinking of all the possible things that could actually happen, but i really dont know what could happen. 

I walked up the beach as time kept ticking getting closer to the meeting time Lauren and I arranged. I saw her kicking sand and pacing up and down the shore " Hey " i said as i got closer " Camz, i missed you " she said giving my a big hug and i automaticlly melted in her arms " I missed you too lolo " i smiled and she kissed my forhead " Everything god with your mom and soph?" she asked and i nodded. We sat on the blanket she had set up and she wrapped her arms around me " Would you like to talk about it now?" she asked and i nodded " Yeah i guess so " i replied and she looked down " Just tell me baby... let me know what you think " she said and i nodded. I took a deep breath and held her hands " Even though i am absolutly scared out of my mind... i have decided that yes i was to turn " I said and i saw her smile bigger than every before " But again im really scared Lauren so.... what do we do?" i ask and she pulls me closer to her " Dont worry, i will just bite you and everything will happen itself, just tell me when and where " she informed me and i nodded " Sounds reasonable " she smiled and held me all that night. I dont think i could make her any happier then in that moment. Im so happy i can do this with her but im still worried about my family " What will happen to my mom and Sophie?" i ask and she shrugs " Would you like to tell them and have them be apart of the family?" she asked and i nodded " Then thats what will happen, simple " i nodded and then asked " Will i want to eat them?" she giggles and held my chin giving me a quick kiss " Maybe in the begining but itll go away trust me " i nodded and cuddled into her. 

She spent the rest of th night with me answering my silly questions and i was scared still but she always has a way of making me fel safe even in our situation
