" Your father is a Crown Prince from a foreign kingdom called Genovia. His royal heritage is the reason I divorced him and took Mia with me. I allowed your father to take you because I knew you would be royalty in the future since you are his eldest daughter."

" After your father and I divorced, I strictly told him not to tell you about Mia and me. I wanted my daughter and me to live a normal life with no royal drama."

" So, I beg you not to tell Mia about this royal life! I do not want her to be around your father's side of the family!"

Aurora tried her best to calm down in the taxi, but the tears kept falling from her chocolate brown eyes. Her cheeks were flushed, looking and feeling embarrassed since the taxi driver was eyeing her from the rearview mirror. The young teen could see that the driver is looking at her with concern.

" Running away from home?" The taxi driver softly asked Aurora.

Aurora shakes her head in response.

" No. That house-That house was never my home," Aurora softly spoke to the taxi driver.

The taxi driver worriedly stared at Aurora, thinking that the young teen got kidnapped or something since she has luggage by her side, and she is also crying.

" Is there-Is there a mall nearby?" Aurora softly asked the taxi driver since her stomach started to growl, and she is getting hungry.

" Do you want to go to the cops instead?" The taxi driver worriedly asked Aurora.

Aurora furiously shakes her head.

" No. I don't want any more drama that I already have," Aurora firmly tells the taxi driver.

The taxi driver nods their head since he sees a fire in Aurora's chocolate brown eyes.

" The nearest mall is Westfield San Francisco Centre. Are you okay with going there?" The taxi driver kindly asked Aurora.

" Yes," Aurora softly responded.

An hour and thirty minutes later, Aurora safely arrived at her destination, Westfield San Francisco Centre. The taxi parked in front of the mall's entrance.

" Thank you for safely taking me to the mall. How much is the fee?" Aurora kindly asked the taxi driver.

The taxi driver glanced at Aurora as they silently stared at the young teen. Usually, they will say twenty dollars since the destination is the mall, but they could see that the girl is going through a tough day.

" Five dollars would be good," The taxi driver softly speaks to Aurora.

Aurora glanced at the taximeter, and her chocolate brown eyes see twenty dollars in red letters on the screen.

" Are you sure? I wouldn't mind giving you twenty dollars. You probably have a family to feed," Aurora softly speaks to the taxi driver.

The taxi driver's gaze softened, feeling touched that Aurora thought about their family.

" Looking at you reminds me of my daughter, Lana. She looks to be around your age," The taxi driver fondly tells Aurora.

Aurora softly smiled at the taxi driver as she grabs her backpack and pulls out her wallet.

The taxi driver noticed, and they pulled their hand out to Aurora.

Aurora takes out a twenty-dollar bill, and she gently placed the money on the taxi driver's hand as she lightly closed their hand.

" Here you go, sir," Aurora kindly smiled at the taxi driver.

The taxi driver's eyes widened in disbelief seeing Aurora giving them a twenty-dollar bill.
