Amy POV
I sat in my office coffee in hand, a hot mug steaming. Earth has some surprisingly good caffeinated drinks.
I am Amaryllis, daughter of Gaea, Supervisor General of the Primordial Army. The primordial council is the family I grew up with. The council consists of Chaos primordial of creation, Gaea primordial of the earth, Ouranos primordial of the sky, Order primordial of destruction, Tartarus primordial of the pit, Aether primordial of the atmosphere, Hemera primordial of light, Nyx primordial of the night, Pontus primordial of the sea, Chronos Primordial of time, and Erebus primordial of darkness.
They were all like parents to me, even if the last two years my mother was stuck as a ghost while it takes centuries for her consciousness to reform. Most of the primordials are stuck as ghosts at the moment, Ouranos, Mother, Nyx, and Tartarus. Ouranos is stuck as a permanent ghost while Nyx and Tartarus are stuck on planet Earth.
I was interrupted from my thoughts as I gazed out the window by a knock on the door. "Enter," I said nonchalantly. In stepped Chaos, with an uncharacteristic grimace on his face.
He glanced around my office, probably to stall for time.
The office was located in the large five bedroom house which me and my siblings inhabited, we were the only current half human demi primordials in existence at the moment so we had the place to ourselves.
We were situated on the planet in the void, Zero Point, home to the primordials and the meeting place of the council. Only someone with primordial blood can enter the void.
Zero Point was a planet identical to earth in physique, while the continents are located differently and are of different shape, we have the same colors and characteristics. Since sol was the birthplace of the primordials they found it fitting to honor their birthplace.
I thought earth was beautiful so I didn't mind. The house sat in a valley where we retreated when we weren't on the planet literally named Army, home to the army of the primordials.
I was Supervisor General and there everyone shied away from me, fearing their leader. Although I wasn't a person with a depressing disposition, I considered myself quite nice. However my word was law and no one dared go against it.
My generals were different, they are my immediate family. Atmos, son of Aether and part Hijak. Hijaks are different from humans, they originate from the planet Hilan and have the same physique as a human (well duh otherwise how would the crossing species have similar reproductive systems) but their skin is blue and they have wings. Ren, son of Pontus, is also part Hijak, they command the navy and Atmos is the aerial General. Ren and Atmos started dating a few decades back and are going strong, they moved into a house a couple miles from here.
Sol, son of Hemera, is half human and the General of the main legion. Gemini, the baby, the sister to all of us, is a daughter of Order. She is the general of the specialists. They are my family and they would definitely attempt to defy orders. I am the oldest of the current Demi primordials with 187 years under my belt. I haven't ever visited earth and now probably wouldn't be the best time considering my mother decided to wage war on her Olympian descendants there and lost. Although, the coffee is good.
Chaos looked around, not really seeing the large mahogany desk or the bookshelves lining the walls. To my back stood a window encompassing the entire wall. I inclined my head to him, "Uncle."
His gaze snapped to me, grimace still plastered on his face. Chaos looked handsome, he had pale skin and black hair, his eyes glowed purple and he stood at about six feet in his mortal form.
