One Sweet Summer

El's POV

I woke up on a Saturday morning not knowing how much of Sweet Summer it will be. I rubbed my eyes and then got up. I came out of my room and I saw Hop sitting on the same old armchair "Hey" he says to me "Hi" I say in a sleepy tone. I got a bowl ,milk and fruit loops.  A couple months back, Max taught me what cereal and milk was. It was good and now I eat it for breakfast almost everyday. When I'm done eating my cereal I walk into my room and call Max "Hey El" she says in a happy tone,  "Can you come to my home today?" I say. She really didn't sound very good "house" she corrects "And yes" she said  in a cheerful giggle. I love her giggle. I feel my cheeks heating up, "Ok bye" I say "Bye love you" she says very casually. "B-Bye love y-you to" I always stutter when I'm nervous. I wish I wasn't so scared to tell Max how I feel. Like I said, I always stutter when I'm nervous so I don't really plan on telling her soon, unless she tells me. I hear a knock at the door and think "It must be Max". I run to the door yelling  "coming". I open the door. "Hey" she says with a smile. We run into my room and sit on my bed "What should we do today?" I said my usual tone not trying to sound Unusual. "We should obviously go to the mall" she says with a hint of sass in her voice. She giggles it off and again her damn giggle sounds so cute.

Max POV 

I came here wanting to tell El I liked her. I've liked her ever since I met her. She's just so calming and sweet. I look at her with Lovestruck eyes. I grabbed her hand and lead her out of the room. We got on our bikes and we set off. "What kind of bird is that" she says in her musical voice while pointing at a cardinal. "That ones called a cardinal" I say pointing at it. She giggles and whispers "cardinal".

                                                                                               Max POV

When we get to the mall, the first thing we do is go to Scoops Ahoy to see our favorite scoopers. Steve's working behind the counter because Robin was out with her girlfriend today. El runs up to the counter and rings the bell. She loves ringing the bell which I think is super adorable. She orders Strawberry and I order Reese's cup. We walk around the mall and eat our ice cream. After we're done we go to back to the photoshoot store where I took El when i brought her here for her first time because we're pretty much just bored now. The guy asked if we would take off our masks and El said "No" in a soft voice. We go to TJ Maxx and just shop around. After an hour of shopping, it's 3 so we decide to go back to El's house. "Max, Can you stay over today" she says looking at my lips, "Yeah of course" I say in a vibrant voice. I know I'm blushing because my cheeks feel really really hot. We watch Ghostbusters while eating popcorn and eggos. She's sitting on the floor and I'm sitting on the couch. She looks really invested into the movie but I ask her  "You want to come up here?"  She says yea and she comes but she comes and cuddles up next to me and then we cuddle. Then when the movie was done we went to her room  and went into her bed. "Goodnight" I said in a sleepy voice. She then says "Wait, can I tell you something". I say Of course, not suspecting anything. She then come up to my face and kissed me. I didn't know what to do so I just kissed back. It felt so good. She then stopped after what felt like a while and said in a sweet voice "Goodnight Maxy" I said "Good night" My day ended perfectly. I knew it was gonna be a sweet summer.
