Chapter 5.

Sarah: i still cant believe Y/N and JJ kisse-

Kie: shut up sarah

JB: what did you just say?

John B looks at you and JJ, your heart is pounding, your face is red, it was quiet til JJ stood up and broke the silence by saying this.

JJ: yes John B, we did kiss okay? and im sorry i didnt listen to you about "staying away from her" but i think i have feelings for her, and i know thats not want to hear coming from your best friend considering im talking about your sister, but its true.

it went silent.. you were blushing and your anxiety turned to butterflies.. do you feel the same?

JB: wow...

Pope: ive never seen you like this JJ, youre so happy lately

JJ: i know, and Y/N i dont expect you to feel the same, and i know we've only known eachothers for a month but i-

before he could finish you got up and kissed him, your hands around his neck, his holding your waist, everything felt so right.

JB: okay okay, break it up. remember Maybank, shes still my little sister.

Y/N: wait so youre not gonna kill us?

JB: i guess not 

you all laugh at his comment and decide to go swimming, you all take of your clothes with your bathing suits under and get in the water, after a bit youre all drunk, and you guys to play chicken fight aka shoulder wars, you get on JJ's shoulder and you decided to go against Sarah on John B's shoulders, you won, you continued to play a couple more rounds, switching players. it started getting dark so you guys all headed back to john b's house, we sat around the fire and talked for a while, you could feel JJ's eyes on you 70% of the time, it was almost comforting in a way, after a bit everyone left and it just left you, JJ, and John B at home, you all said goodnight and went to your rooms. around 4 am you wake up to a text from JJ saying

JJ: be ready in 5 minutes

you get up and change into some sweatpants and his hoodie, you throw on some mascara, and leave your room, JJ walks out of his room

JJ: you ready?

Y/N: what's happening? where are we going JJ ?

JJ: its a surprise 

he grabs your hand and drags you to John B's van, you both get in and he starts driving

Y/N: where are you taking me maybank?

JJ: youll see, youll see

after a couple minutes you arrive at this hidden spot

Y/N: great, is this the part where you kill me, then sell my organs

JJ: damn it, how'd you know?

you giggle, and he opens the car door for your, taking your hand and leading you down the beach, you then arrive at this dock, it had a picnic blanket on it, with pillows and other blankets, you both sit down and wrap yourselves in blankets and begin to watch the sun rise, your head on his shoulder and his hand on your leg. you left at peace

Y/N: JJ, this is beautiful

JJ: i know it isnt much, but i just wanted to make it like the night we kissed

youve never really seen this side of JJ, hes normally a more hard rather than soft person, but you liked this side of him

Y/N: its perfect JJ

after a little bit of silents JJ sits up a bit

JJ: hey Y/N 

Y/N: yeah JJ

JJ: will you be my girlfriend?

you blush and feel the butterflies grow in your stomach, you look at him and put your hand on his cheek, you guys kiss

Y/N: of course i will JJ

you guys kiss again and you can feel him smiling through the kiss, after a bit of kissing and whatever, you and JJ cuddle up together on the dock and accidently fall asleep...

the next morning you wake up to a bunch of texts and calls from JB

JB: where are you and JJ?

JB: where the fuck is my car?

Y/N: him and i will be home soon, im sorry

you wake JJ up and you guys pack up the blankets, and head home, it was about 9 am, you guys get home and see John B on the couch

JB: where were you guys

JJ: we watched the sunrise but then accidently fell alseep

JB: you guys scared the shit out of me

Y/N: im sorry, we shouldve left a note or something

JB: its okay, just glad yall arent dead

that night all the pogues came over, we were all by the fire talking and laughing just when jj says this

JJ: Y/N and i have something to share

Y/N: JJ and i are together 

Kie: AWW OMG

Sarah: IM SO HAPPY FOR YALL!!!

you notice john b get up and walk inside, you and JJ follow

JJ: whats your deal bro

JB: my "deal" is that im supposed to protect my little sister, not let her get with my idiot best friend.

JJ: why cant you just be happy for us?

Y/N: listen John B, i know that sense mom left, and dad died that you think its your job to protect me, but you dont have to protect me from JJ

JJ: im not gonna hurt her dude, i swear on my life.

JB: youre right, i need to just be happy for you guys.. im sorry

Y/N: dont be, its okay
