There you were, standing in front of Corporal Levi's office door. He had asked you to come into his office about an hour ago without giving you a single reason. You were stressing out at the thought of being reprimanded by him, this idea made you shiver, you were stepping in front of this same door without ever having opened it. 

You heard a noise, someone had moved, was it Levi? What were you supposed to do if he knew that you had been waiting outside his door for ten minutes? 

The door opened and you met Levi, who was looking at you with a curious look. You took a step back and almost fell when Levi caught you.

"Tch be careful. How long have you been here? " 

"About ten minutes Corporal — I didn't know what to do I was stressed, sorry" 

"Am I making you that uncomfortable? "

"It's not — I mean your precense doesn't make me uncomfortable but I didn't know why you wanted to see me and I was afraid... That's all, sorry."

His look had changed, he had softened when he saw you smiling slightly. You could tell you weren't there to be argued with as he took your hand in his to kiss it. This move made you blush like a red tomato, you didn't expect this, not from him, Corporal Levi, a person normally so cold. There he was, in front of you, his lips against your hand. This act reassured you in a way. He raised his head and said.

"Don't be sorry, I am, I should have told you a reason — I just wanted to talk to you about something. " 

He looked at you with an uncertain look, as if he didn't know if he should act or not. You let out an inaudible laugh and then squeezed his hand more confidently to let him know that he had your approval. 

"Come in, I don't want to be seen in front of all these cadets." He said while looking at the ground.

It was a fact that some of the cadets had been there for a while, but you hadn't noticed them. You followed Levi into his big office, perfectly clean, which did not surprise you, Levi was a clean freak and everyone knew it. The number of times he had made you clean up as a punishment could not be counted on the fingers of one hand because you had done it so often.

"What was it you wanted to tell me Corporal? "

You had never seen the corporal like that and you could bet that no one had seen him that way either. "I love you, promise me you'll always be with me Levi. I never want to lose you, you hear me, never. So promise me, promise me we'll go to the sea together and live happily ever after."

"I promise." He said, letting out a tear as he tightened his grip.
