panting, you untangled yourselves from each other. lips swollen and hair disheveled you breathily chuckled while tugging at your shirt. patting away the wrinkles and pulling up the sides of your pants, they were never take off but the way feitan roamed your waist with his slender nimble fingers pushed them down further than they usually sat.
patting your hair down and wiping the excess lip balm off the side of your mouth you look up suddenly. the feeling of being watched made the hairs at the back of your neck stand at attention and your heart speed up enough for you to take a deep inhale.
grey feline-like eyes stare at you intensely, roaming your body but flickering back to your eyes after every few seconds. once he realized you were starting back his eyes relaxed. back straightening and a sly smirk capturing his lips.
sighing he started, "you are better at that...then I thought you would be."
you scoffed.
this little shit-
"well look who found their voice~" you cooed crawling on all fours to be right in his face. "last I checked you were the one red in the face fei, don't try me."
holding his hands up in surrender you backed off, laying back onto the pillows and blankets starting up into the night sky that seemed to have darkened.
stars of course twinkling their twinkle but...not as brightly as before. pulling your phone from your pocket you checked the time, "4:36 am".
damn this late already?
you swiped open the device, casually ignoring all the notifications from your manager. sure, they'd give you hell next shift or even cut your pay for the month but as of right now... in this moment of silence, as feitan gently rubbed your thigh while bobbing his head up and down, fighting sleep and losing miserably, you couldn't care less.
"seeing as you're about to pass out i suggest we get some sleep."
"but we're... really far from home and...you don't know...where we are."
he had a point. you had no idea where you guys were and sure GPS was an option but driving around the dark woods half asleep without knowing where you're going is stupid.
maybe we could sleep in the truck? no that wouldn't work, if we sleep past ten all hell could break loose. I mean I could always just tell them that everything is fine now.
...or is it? NOPE- y/n literally stfu oml-
"what are you...thinking about? you have...that look on your face."
laughing sheepishly you began to explain your thought process from earlier. you didn't expect him to be upset per-say but maybe shocked...taken aback? to be honest you didn't really know. feitan was a wild card and could pull out either the most monotone or expressive reactions.
the more you explained, or more like nervously rambled the more feitan internally rejoiced about being able to spend time with you. maybe even the rest of his life if he played his cards right.
'wtf is wrong with me? when did i care about...anyone?' he thought. 'fuck it lemme just ask now, this dumbass will most likely say yes.'
"then killua- right you don't know him. he's my neighbor with this other kid gon who is super sweet but kinda...strange. i mean they both are but who isn't y'know. anyway yeah, killua was just being an ass-"
"do you wanna...date me?"
"...huh?"
"do you wanna...go on dates with...me and officially be known as...my partner?"
well that came out of nowhere-
wait a damn minute
"aren't I already? I know it wasn't like official official but you kinda claimed yourself my boyfriend the day we met-"
the silence was so loud. so very very loud.
"well shit- I guess will you...be my partner officially...now?"
giggled you nodded, pulling him down to lay right next to you. both of your we're still tired and the thought of your friends and their concerns had completely slipped your mind.
cuddling up to your boyfriend and wrapping the two of you in an ungodly amount of blankets, the both if drifted off to sleep. subtle smiles on your faces as the reality of your relationship started to set in.
