Look at me, doing another straight ship- wow. Since there's already Riku, I'm calling Replica Riku Repliku, and that's what everyone else calls him because its fanfiction, I could have them all call him Bobby John if I wanted too.
"Repliku, just go talk to her! After all, you're the one who saved her." Riku nudged him forward.
"I get that, but-"
"No 'buts'! Go and talk to her." Riku walked away without another word.
Repliku sighed and floated over to where Naminé and Kairi were sitting on the paopu tree.
"Hey Kairi, can I talk with Naminé?" He asked.
"Yeah, sure. We were just wrapping up anyway. I'll go check on Riku and Sora," Kairi smiled and walked across the bridge.
"Naminé, I just wish that I were a physical being, you know?"
"Me too. That way, me and you could hang out a lot better."
Repliku sat down on the tree next to her.
"Not physically being with you is nothing short of torture. But I couldn't just take the replica, or else you wouldn't be here."
Naminé nodded. "I wish that there was an extra replica for you, but Ienzo is working on it with Ansem the Wise and Even."
"It's so strange." Repliku said. "I just want to kiss you, and hug you and hold your hand and do some romantic thing because I love you, but I can't because I'm just-" he shivered as Naminé's hand went through his.
"Sorry! I just wanted to see if you were actually..." Naminé trailed off.
"It's okay," Repliku smiled. "I'm used to it." He paused. "Have I ever mentioned that I love you?"
Naminé nodded with a giggle. "Quite a lot." She turned and faced him with a bright smile.
Repliku let his hand float over her cheek, imagining that he was actually holding her close. As he looked at Naminé, he saw her face was slightly red.
Repliku immediately backed off, not sure what to say.
"Its okay, you just caught me off guard. That's all," Naminé smiled again. Repliku was sure that if he could, he would have swooned over her smile.
"Naminé... will you wait for me?" Repliku asked.
"Huh? What do you mean?" Naminé tugged on the end of her dress.
"Will you wait for me? Wait for the day we can actually be together? When I get a replica?"
"Oh. Of course I will! I'll wait for you as long as I need to!" Naminé seemed to hesitate. "I love you, Repliku."
"I love you too, Naminé."
