Hermoine rolled her eyes and went downstairs to the common room. She immediately got what she expected, Luna and Ginny were clamoring around saying that they were happy for her , but hurt that she hadnt told them before "Why didn't you tell us? We are your best friends" Ginny pouted. As Hermoine tried to explain Ron shot a scathing comment at her way. Ya well I bet she's hiding much bigger stuff than that Gin" And whats that supposed to mean?! Hermoine yelled ,Well you have already snagged haven't you? Ron said
Hermoine felt like she was petrified. She shot back to Ron, no actually, we have not. You don't see me asking whether you have snagged Parkinson have you? Ginny pulled her hand and muttered come on 'Mione let's go, but Hermoine pulled back. She was extremely angry at Ron. She hexes him before turning and leaving for the Great Hall. FLIPENDO! She yelled.
It wasn't much better at breakfast. Everyone was shooting her scathing looks. In the end when she couldn't take it anymore. She got up and left. More staring. Ginny sighed, grabbed a stack of toast and shouted at the people "GET BACK TO YOUR LIFE WONT YOU "and followed Hermoine.
She found her at the common room, silently crying. With Draco desperately trying to comfort her. Ginny made a sign for Draco to go out, and he obeyed. She quietly sat down beside Hermoine, put the toast on the table, and pulled her into a hug, and let her cry.
After what seemed like an eternity, Hermoine sat up and mumbled thanks, Ginny waved it off . Hermoine suddenly said, can I ever fall in love without people staring? Ginny looked at her incredulously and said you actually fell for him?! Hermoine turned a beetroot red and looked away. 'Mione, Ginny said.....I'm happy for you. Hermoine slowly turned her head and smiled at Ginny, thanks Gin she muttered.
