toby had waken up, and immediately checked her phone. she opened it to a message from cath. toby smiled, cheeks flushing red. without any hesitation, toby quickly read it. it was some stupid meme but toby didn't mind, she admired everything cath sent her. toby laughed at it, and sent a meme back. their matching discord profile pictures made toby's stomach fill with butterflies everytime. not getting a response back from cath, toby sighed and figured she was offline. toby scrolled through instagram and youtube, bored out of her mind. toby finally got a discord notification, from cath. toby smiled dorkishly and opened it. the two were just sending dumb memes back and forth but it made the both of them happy to be talking. eventually, toby got up out of bed and went to eat breakfast. toby wasn't usually the one to eat, but she did it for her dear friends. she didn't want to make them feel bad. toby got out the apple juice, which toby jokingly called piss juice due to the color, and the lucky charms cereal. she quickly made up her breakfast, trying to hurry back to her phone. once she returned, she noticed it was 12pm. luckily it was spring break, so toby didn't care. cath had attempted to vc toby, but toby was too busy making food to answer. cath anxiously passed it off as an accident, getting nervous about the others reaction. toby smiled, "ah! no, its okay!! dont worry ! :]" toby really enjoyed the time she spent with cath, although it was over a screen. the two had posted a video about them on their channels, claiming it was platonic but deep down they knew it wasn't. they were, "platonically married." lame, right? why can't they just kiss already?? ahem, anyways.
cath sat up on her bed, anxiously sighing as she realized how stupid her "accidental call" excuse was. she screamed into her pillow, her cheeks red as hell. "oh my god i'm such an idiot.." although her speech was muffled, due to the face in pillow thing, it still felt good to let out stress. cath's phone went off, snapping her out of her trance. toby had sent her another meme, cath chuckled and sent one back, before going offline. "holy shit i've fallen hard, haven't i..?" cath sighed yet again, and opened up spotify. reluctantly, she clicked play on ' i do adore ' by mindy gledhill. great song, really. but really shown how gay cath was for the other girl.
