End Game Part 55

I walked off to where Harry was waiting
I looked back at Fred who had George sitting beside him now
I'm sorry

"Electra let's get this done fast" Ron said pulling me in for a hug "let's end it before anymore of our family gets hurt"

I looked at Harry after Ron let me go and he shook his head
He hasn't told them what he plans to do

The fighting was still going on when we exited the Great Hall
Harry took out his cloak and had us all hide inside of it to avoid death eaters

While we were walking we saw Ginny and Neville battling three death eaters in the left wing
I knew it took everything Harry and Ron had to not go and help them, Ginny must have left the room and joined the fight when all the minors left...

But we moved on
I prayed to Merlin and Godric that they would stay safe
No more death please

When we arrived outside of the castle Harry took off the cloak and placed it in his bag again
"My vision was at the shrieking shack...Voldemort is there with Lucius and Nagini. That's where we have to go"

We nodded our heads and began running towards the whomping willow
Spiders came crawling through the forest alongside werewolves and death eaters alike

We were lucky to avoid clashing with most of them, but when we got closer to the willow tree I noticed someone fighting a Death Eater
Draco?

He was losing his battle, the man had 100 pounds over Draco and looked old enough to be more experienced in fighting

"Worse death eater, Voldemort will be please to be rid of you" he said to Draco firing spells at him

Draco barely dodged the last one, so I ran in front of him and let the spells bounce back to the dark wizard
"Leave him alone" I growled
Not Draco too please no

"Electra what are you doing?? leave" Draco said firing spells at the death eater
Harry Ron and Hermione now joined my fight to protect Draco, which was a good thing because more enemies showed up

"Why are they attacking you?" I asked throwing spells

"I killed Fenrir Greyback" he said and I stood shocked

"Brilliant" Ron said "that bastard deserved to die"

"I know" Draco said

We took down the group of dark wizards and then said goodbye to Draco
I hugged him tightly
"Please stay alive"

"You too..see you when this is over" he said running towards the castle

We were about to be at the willow but before we could go into it a swarm of over 100 dementors came flying for us

"Expecto Patronum" Harry and I said together but our Patronus' weren't coming out
Just sparks

We tried again and failed
Why can't I produce anything??

I can't think of anything happy...Fred is alive but he's going to be hurt the rest of his life
Charlie is dead
Lee is dead
Sorina is dead
This war is hell
Nothing about it is joyful

The dementors were on top of us sucking the life from our bodies, I fell to the ground holding onto my chest
This can't be how it ends

3 Patronus came rushing to our aid, and behind them were Luna Seamus and Dean
"We've got your back" Seamus said

"We will bring joy if you can't think of any" Luna said reassuring us

"Thank you" we said

We left them to battle the dementors, we weren't going to be any help with our minds being empty of happiness

I went with my group into the Whomping Willow that had already been stunned by someone

When we entered the shrieking shack we heard the voice of Voldemort and Snape talking amongst themselves on the floor above us
We stayed on the stairs listening in

"The elder wand isn't working for me!!" Voldemort yelled "it's no better than that good for nothing Lucius' wand"

"My lord the wand responds to you and to you only. You took it from Dumbledore it's allegiance is to you" Snape reassured him

"But I didn't kill Dumbledore...you did. I am not the true master of it you are"

I looked at Harry and he was staring at the scene in front of us
He's going to kill Snape

I saw Nagini, she was slithering around Voldemort's feet
We ducked anytime she looked our way

"My lord" Snape said

"You were a good servant. The best I had...I'm going to miss your loyalty...Kill" he commanded his snake to attack Snape

We watched as Nagini attacked him again and again
We were helpless, there was nothing we could do to stop what was happening
Voldemort disapparated with his snake, leaving Snape bleeding out on the floor

We ran up the stairs and Hermione began looking for a healing potion while I held my hand on his bleeding throat

"Take it" Snape said looking at Harry

"I need a vile" he yelled and Hermione threw him one
I watched as Harry collected a single tear that Snape let out

"You look so much like her" Snape said looking at Harry

He then looked at me
"Your mother was beautiful inside and out just like Lily. I know you don't think you resemble her but you do...I see her in you"

Hermione continued looking but it became useless
Snape passed away beside us
I've watched so many people die today...

I let tears fall for our fallen Professor
Many didn't get along with him, but he trained me in things that no one else could. I always respected him

I closed his eyes for him and send a prayer up to the stars
Help those who have fallen tonight find their way home

When we exited the shack Voldemort's voice entered all of our heads

"Many of you have died for Harry Potter and Electra Black tonight. You have died fighting a losing cause. Bring me both of them in an hour, use this time to dispose of your dead and treat your wounded. If they are not in the forbidden forest by then I will personally end every life who tried protecting them tonight"

I looked at Harry, Hermione and Ron
We all just stood in a circle staring at each other

"Let's go help the wounded" Hermione offered
