Atonement

The lights and lanterns of the spring festival are not distinctly visible from the Forest where sasuke is walking . A farmer requested him to stay at his House because he saved him from the local goons. However , he decides to continue his journey again.

             このほどを  花に礼いふ  別れ哉
                       “Thanks for all”
           Expressing my gratitude to blossoms
                          At the parting.
In this dark forest or admist the crowd,  Spring is present just like the way
she always tries to be the Spring sunshine in his dark life.His eyes give a soften look forming a curve on his lips.

"Sasuke kun let's take shelter in that cave there ." He agrees and both enter the cave to save themselves from the pouring rain . Being a dutiful medical ninja , she puts her hand on his forehead to check if he has fever or not although a part of her expected him to shove her hands away . Things have changed a lot ever since sasuke came back . He became a new person who cares about others rather than revenge . He understood that revenge isn't going to bring anyone any good. So, he chose the path for his atonement .

"I know that the job you are doing is Quite dangerous .I know that it's important and you are the only one able to do this thing . But (she looks at his eyes)you can come back at the village more often . That's where your Home is."Sasuke may read her like a book but he doesnt have a single clue why this girl still cares so much about him.
Sasuke had his own back story . He inherited both the blessings and curses of his clan .He was once completely engulfed by bloodlust . He could hear his mind saying , "I tried to kill sakura ." Regret is flowing all over his body since his last fight with naruto.his gaze is fixed on the ground , the eyes which are afraid to look at the green orbs . He was so engaged in thinking about his regrets that he doesn't even hear what she is saying now.
"Why did you accompany me?"His question was out of context of what sakura  was saying ."I don't want you to suffer anymore ." He wanted to apologize. But no matter how many times he says this she always smiles at him and tells him she is fine and not to worry .
"Sakura"
She feels a tint of electricity every time he says her name . "Well ………."he doesn't know how to thank her for her perseverance and to say let's make this moments better so that I can light up your pain , all that were inflicted by me.
She was there as the blessing from the Immortal . When his brother murdered his whole family he cried to the heavens ,
"Why? Why should I live in this solitude ? Where will I find the same tender love ?"
Maybe his prayers were heard and She was the Blessing .

Sakura was the author of her own life . She had no sad back story , no glorious background. She worked hard like hell to become great like her teammates which makes her a worthy protagonist. Despite all the pains sasuke has given to her,  he was never the villain in her book. Because he was the one who made her aware of the pain of loneliness .

All I wanted was a hand next to me to hold​

"Sasuke kun are you listening? You have slight fever . May be it's better for me to guard you while you sleep . You need to rest." "Sakura listen….""Yes Sasuke kun ?" "WHY?"(HE GULPS BECAUSE HE IS CONFUSED AND LACKS CONFIDENCE)""I guess you should sleep now ." So, he reluctantly goes to sleep. He dreams of itachi.
One day he went to train with his beloved brother Itachi.Izumi came to visit them."Izumi….May be next time Sasuke,  Lets go home now. "" NeeSan (brother)!!!" "Sassuke it is  Already Evening."" yes sasuke.  We should go home now.  Mikoto san cooked Miso soup with tomatoes! "Itachi chuckled because he was the one who told izumi that Sasuke likes tomatoes a lot.
They started walking towards their home, the uchiha district." nee San!Neesan!!!!Neesan!"Kid sasuke was just trying to seek attention of his elder brother who was busy laughing at izumi's jokes and inquiring how her day was. "Itachi, We are walking too slowly…..  It will be morning when we reach home." Behind itachi's smile immense pain was hidden. He looked at izumi and smiled again. "NeeSan!" Itachi looked at sasuke.
"Nee SAN!!I wanted to train with you but you avoided me the whole day while talking with izumi san. When I get older I will find a girl too and avoid you the whole day! "
"You will..what?" the teenagers laugh at the kid's silly complain.
When they reach the door of Izumi's house, Itachi asked her,
月が綺麗ですね?
Izumi closed the door and said,
死んでもいいわ
Sasuke wakes up. Sakura is still awake. Sasuke knew what he has to do now. Sasuke gets up and sits beside her.
"Ah...sasuke kun…  did i wake you up? "" Sakura… it's my turn""Sasuke kun don't  worry, we need to start for suna (sand village) tomorrow. Look it is the venus! "" sakura….Isn't the moon beautiful tonight? "
All I wanted was a hand next to me to hold.
Now I know this feeling and will protect it with my all.
