Wayne-Kent House 2038 March 6th
It was the early hours of the morning Jon and Damian were lying asleep in their bed when Jon was woken up by someone shaking his arm.
"David what are you doing up, it's three o'clock" Jon said sleepily
"I can't sleep, I had a bad dream" David said
"Okay come here" Jon said
Jon lifted him up into the bed and lay him in between him and Damian where David snuggled into Jon as Jon stroked his hair and they went back to sleep. They continued to sleep until seven when David woke up and began to shake his parents awake
"When do you get into the bed you little rascal" Damian asked
"Daddy let me in this morning" David said
"It was three o'clock and he had a nightmare" Jon said
"I think we should go back to bed, it's a Saturday and nothing important is happening" Damian said yawning
"No today is important" David said shaking him
"Why is that" Jon asked putting his glasses on
"It's my birthday" David said
"No it's not, it hasn't been a year since your last has it" Damian asked
"Yes it has" he cried
"Are you sure" Jon asked
"Yes I'm five" David said
"Oh so that's who this bag is for" Damian said picking a bag off the floor
"Happy Birthday David" Jon said hugging him
"Before you open your gift, do you want it or not" Damian asked
"I do" David said
"I'm not convinced I might give it to Tommy" Damian said
"No you can't it's not his birthday" David complained
"Are you sure you want it" Damian asked
"Dami just give it to him" Jon said
"Tt, fine" Damian said handing over the bag
"We hope you like it" Jon said
"I do" David said
"Now who wants breakfast pancakes" Damian asked
"I do, I do" David cheered
"I'll go make them" Damian said leaving
"Can you help me build this later" David asked
"Yeah of course I will, now go downstairs and I'll get your siblings out of bed" Jon replied
"Okay daddy" David said getting up
Jon got out of the bed as well and knocked into Tommy's room and got no answer he opened the door to find he wasn't there, he then went to Ellie's room and she wasn't in hers either. He made his way downstairs only to find they were only ready down there with Damian
"Morning Dad" Tommy said
"Good morning why are you two up so early" Jon asked
"We just got up and came downstairs to watch TV before everyone else woke up" Ellie replied
"Well when your done eating get dressed because we're going out" Jon said
"Do we have to?" Ellie asked
"Yes you do, we're going to the Manor to see your grandparents, all of them and your aunts and uncles will be there as well so it's compulsory" Damian said
