"You majesty. His Highness is requesting your presence." The messenger proclaimed. The once vibrant room of love and laughter dwindled to silence.

"Oh, right now?" Zulee asked, hesitant to come as he knows what may happen in the next few moments. He knows his father, and he knows what happens to those who disobey him.

They're punished...

The messenger nodded his head and stepped out of the room, indicating the young prince to follow. As Zulee began to walk towards the entrance, he looks back at his friends, Hong and Hana, who both give him reassuring smiles.

Zulee knew everything will be okay, one way or another, as long as he had those two by his side. After his mother, Hong and Hana mean the world to him and he would do anything to protect them and them the same.

The messenger led Zulee down winding pathways and long flights of stairs to the throne room. As he entered, he felt the scorching flames around him. This room, unchanging fo thousands of years, still held the same burning intensity worshipped of the fire nation.

Walking down through the pillar room, Zulee gulped at the sight. Before him stood the massive raised throne seating his father and the first advisor to the right. Behind them a massive wall of fire rose from the depths. He knelt down and bowed to the two before him, "You asked for my presence, Father?" He began.

Just then, the prince felt the scorching heat rise to new heights, the wall of fire matching this height, bathing his father in the flames.

"Zulee." The menacing dark tone of his voice made chills run down Zulee's spine. There was not emotion in his words, except for the ominous rage billowing inside of him.

At the call of his name, Zulee raised his head to meet the eyes of his enraged father. "Yes? What do you need?"

"Do you know why I brought you here?" The king asked eyeing his son from above.

Zulee gulped, "Was it because I didn't kill the refugees?"

The advisor gave a quick chuckle to his response, "Not just that you stupid boy. Your father and I have been talking and we see how vulnerable you are to your emotions. That would never make a great leader."

Zulee stood up from his position, "What do you mean?"

The advisor rolled his eyes, "Due to your incompetence, we have lost half our military and our reputation is falling. We-"

"That's enough, Unai" The kind interuppted, "It's come to my awareness that we don't see eye to eye."

Zulee snorted, "That's an understatement." He muttered.

Zaisu's face hardened, "You have been rebelling recently, and I understand why."

Zulee's eyes brightened, "You do?!"

"I do," Zaisu continued, "I have been to lenient towards you. Letting you do whatever you wanted inside these palace walls. I even let those wretched friends of you stay here. Those two have been putting these horrible thoughts into your mind and But that will be ending today. You will never see you're friends again."

Zulee sighed, he knew this would happen. It wasn't the first time. On and off, their relationship would be. He would banish Zulee or his friends for a while, but soon enough they would be right back where they started.

But this time will be different.

"What do you mean?" Zulee inquired, hoping what he meant was all a joke, but he knew it wasn't.

"I want you to kill them."

Silence...

Utter silence...

Zulee could never do anything like that. Those two are all he had. No, he wouldn't do it. There was no way.

"I-i"

"No excuses, if you can't do it than I will, and you will have nonstop training until the day I die."

Zaisu was not going to take no for an answer. He knew that Zulee could not kill his friends, so he was going to use this opportunity to get rid of these pests and have Zulee under his control again.

This will be the last time this happens.

"You have 3 days. Now, go. Unai please see him out."

Unai gave a brief bow and ushered Zulee out of the room.

"I don't want to see any deaths either." Unai began to whisper as he exited out of the room with Zulee. "But i do want to see one."

As the two walked their way through the halls, Zulee gave a look of confusion. "What do you mean, who's death?"

The advisor nudged him further, "You know who, he's forcing you to kill your own friends just because your not listening to him. He's cruel, ruthless, and extremely stubborn. I'd rather have someone like you ruling over us."

Zulee stopped in his tracks, "Really?! You believe every i would be a good ruler?"

Unai smiled, but it seemed fake, "Of course, maybe greater than king Zuko." By this time, Unai was just trying to flatter and convince the prince, he needed him on his side if he wants this plan to work.

"Then what do we do?" Zulee inquired, taking the bait. "Surely you have a plan already."

The advisor grinned wickedly, "But of course, the only way to ensure your throne is to kill your predecessor."

"But i don't think I could-"

"Your the only one who can. If you kill him, you can take the throne and claim your fathers murder as an accidental death. Me as the first advisor can back you up with my power over the others. Anyone else could be sentenced to death."

Zulee pondered over this, "You may be right, but you know I can never hurt a fly. Let alone a person."

"But this is your father, he wants to kill your girlfriend, our future queen, right before Valentine's day. Can you live with that?"

Zulee looked to the ground as Unai secretly smiled, all is going perfectly.

The prince once again turned to the advisor and spoke, "When do we start."

Unai gave him a quick pat on his back, "See you tomorrow night."

Just then Hana came into their sight and walked up to the two. "What are guys up to."

"On nothing," Unai reassured, "Zulee was just talking about how much he loves you and that he would do anything for you."

Hana blushes and looked to Zulee, "Really?"

Zulee nervously chuckled and rubbed the back of his neck as a response before leading Hana towards their chamber.

"Oh really," Unai whispered as the couple went away, "He would even kill for you."
