Besting Everyone And Phil Runs Into A Problem!

I chilled with Ray as he walked up to the teacher he shared with Emma.

"Oh! Are you guys the new students?" Okay so far so good. He seems friendly and I didn't get the same vibes I got from Mrs. Angermann.

"Yeah." Ray said and Emma nodded along.

"Last names?"

"Ratri."

"Oki doki, let's see here..." Did this guy really say 'oki doki' like it was something that you'd hear every day? Because if he did I think he's my favorite teacher now. It's like skipping. No one skips, or gallops, or crab crawl, or any of that fancy shmancy stuff. They just walk and run. It's like skipping and all that isn't normal. He pointed to where Ray and Emma were gonna sit and I sat next to the teacher. They did some warm ups before they headed out to the track.

"Okay guys since we have a couple of new students here we're going to go over the course for the fun run." One of the lady teacher's said. I tilted my head. Fun run? What's that? Is it kind of like an obstacle course?

"You run a lap, go up the wheelchair ramp, around the school, down the wheelchair ramp, back onto the track till you get to the little hill and go up the hill, run down the top and down the ramp and then cross this line. If you guys get lost just follow everyone else."

... I mean, I guess it's kind of like an obstacle course. Just minus the obstacles...

"Okay on your marks... Go!" Everyone started running and Emma easily pulled up to the front along with Ray, Norman, Gilda, and Don. I watched as the teacher were shocked, staring at them as they ran ahead of everyone else.

"Wow! Those kids are really good!" Mr. Thalan said with a big smile.

"You should get them to join Track Mrs. Abad!" The other girl teacher said watching them getting near the wheelchair ramp.

"I really should. You two should help me!" Mrs. Abad said elbowing them in their sides. They all laughed and I watched the other kids just look at them still shocked at how fast they were. The fastest ones were halfway on the wheelchair ramp while Emma and the rest were no where to be seen, probably at the front of the school. I waited and watched as they finished the "fun run" and drifted over to them to see what they were talking about.

"Mm! That felt nice!" Emma said with a smile and stretch. Everyone else nodded.

"It's been a while since we ran like that. Ever since we got here everyone has been studying up on the history here." Ray said.

"We should get everyone together and play tag again like the good old days!" Don said with a closed eye smile.

Phil sat down at the table in the library. It was strange. He just told the librarian lady that he already had a book but then she took it from him saying that it was too hard? Besides it wasn't a book from the library even! It was from the Ratri library back at home and no one helped him get it back! She said that he could get it back after school, but he didn't want Ray and the others to worry about where he was after school.

Although Phil doesn't hate people, he knew he didn't like the librarian Mrs. Greyson at all. She was mean, really mean. She also thought that he was stupid and she didn't even know him at all!!! Phil had to get the book back right now, and he smiled as he got a plan. He walked up to Johnathan who was his table buddy.

"Hey Johnathan! Do you wanna do something cool?"

A/N: Before anyone asks, yes Mrs. Greyson is based off of my elementary school librarian. I hated her because I wanted to read a chapter book and she wouldn't let me because those were "big kid books" like I was stupid. Like I know I'm not white but that doesn't mean I'm stupid and can't read English. In the end though I just got a picture book on swans and the person checking out our books was really nice UWU Anyways mini rant over, Phil what do you have in mind?! We already know Phil is extra sneaky and savage from LiN but for real though how is he gonna get his book back?
