Andronikos had been standing next to his heavily pregnant sister, when Alex Summerton announced the last "princess'" descent the down the stairs.
"Andro, doesn't she just have a fabulous smile?" Nicky half-whispered to his brother.
Adjust his arm around his sister, Andronikos grunted slowly as he turned his attention to the lady descending the stairs. She wore a royal blue dress that shimmered in the rich lighted hall. His gaze traveled from her high-heeled clad feet to her shapely long legs, up her tightly hugged hips to her glass-hour waist. A lump formed in his throat, but none-the-less his eyes continued on their journey to paradise. His eyes paused on her delicate breasts, he cleared his throat, and continued to eye the tall petite woman. Reaching her face, Andronikos's gaze lingered on her pouty pink lips which were stretched in a small cautious smile. Bingo! He thought. Something was bothering her, his predator sense took over as he started analyzing everything.
"Hey!" Nicky lightly punched him on the arm, bringing back his attention to the present.
"What?" Andronikos asked as he innocently shrugged.
"You are seriously daydreaming. Wonder what it's about..."Nicky pretended to think for a few minutes.
"Don't worry, its nothing illegal. Just a simple business deal or should I say business proposition." He lied
Nicky threw him another glance, Nicky always worried about Andronikos's life. He never spent any time trying to arrange his personal life, he always lived for business Nicky sighed.
"Hey gorgeous, don't you start stressing about me. If you stress, the baby gets stressed too. I'm a big boy, so you shouldn't worry.." Andro changed tactics, talking about his sister's pregnancy.
"Yeah, you probably right. Let's go greet the Summertons and maybe you will find me a place to sit. It sure is difficult to spending lengthy minutes on my feet." Nicky announced as she leaned heavily against her brother.
"Yeah sure beautiful."Andro gave his sister a cheeky grin and winked at her. She laughed wholeheartedly.
Gwendolyn's POV
The sunshine peeped through the curtains, shining directly onto my bed and my body. I groaned loudly, the only person who usually dragged my curtains open in the mornings was Arty. I pulled the bed-cover over my head, trying to prevent the sun from completely wiping sleep away from my brain.
Someone yanked my bed-covers, making me groan louder this time.
Gathering enough strength, I started to speak.
"What do you want Arty?" I questioned in a hoarse voice.
"Duh! Its morning time, surely you know that you have to wake up." She spoke through my sleepy haze.
"Come on, give me 30 more minutes." I negotiated.
"No."
"40 minutes?" I continued.
"Definitely not."
"20 minutes?"
"It won't get rid of your hangover."
"How about 10?"
"Still won't work." She stated.
"Spoil sport, should have seriously got you drunk last night, then you would have been joining me on this bed."
My sleep was totally gone now, but a throbbing headache still pursued its purpose. I finally lifted my head from the comfortable pillows, groaning as a I felt sharp pain in my head, it even felt like it was made of steel. But non-the-less I remained in a sitting position, rubbing my forehead with my right hand.
