Mike laid in his bed, staring up at the white ceiling. He was so nervous, he felt sick and shaky. Today was the day he was going to tell his brother how he felt about him. That he was in love with him.

He wasn't sure how it happened, the feelings just came along over time. He never thought something like that would happen to him. To get feelings for his brother.

Of course he tried to push the feelings away, but they wouldn't go away. He's hid them for so long, but now, he just can't hold it in anymore. The first time he realized his feelings was when he had a nightmare and Vic was the one to comfort him.

"Vic, Vic, please wake up." Mike whispered, shaking his brother violently. Vic's brown eyes popped open and he quickly sat up.

"What's wrong? The house isn't on fire is it?" He asked. Mike shook his head and sniffled.

"No. I-I had a nightmare." He sobbed. Vic frowned and pulled his little brother in his arms, holding him tightly as he stroked the ends of his hair.

"It's okay, Mikey. It was just a bad dream." Vic whispered soothingly in his ear. Mike sighed in his chest. He felt so much better being in Vic's arms. He felt so safe, like nothing was going to hurt him. Sure, he had had other hugs before from other people, but they never felt this comforting.

"Are you alright?" Vic asked. Mike nodded.

"Yeah. I think so. Thanks, Vic." Mike whispered.

"Your welcome. Want to try to go back to sleep now?"

Mike sniffled one last time. "Yeah, I guess so."

He pulled himself away from Vic and laid in the bed beside him. Vic pulled the comforter over them both and wrapped his arms around Mike. He kissed his cheek before he nuzzled his nose in his little brothers back.

"Goodnight, Mikey." Vic whispered.

"Goodnight." Mike whispered back.

Mike sighed at the memory. Now that he thinks of it, it was a little embarrassing that he woke up crying that night. But ever since that night Mike just couldn't stop thinking about Vic. He felt so nervous when he was around him. And every time be was around Vic, the smile on his face would never go away.

"Hello, my little brother!" Vic said cheerfully as he plopped on the bed beside Mike. He poked his tummy. "And what are you up to?"

Mike smiled, giggling a little. "Nothing."

"Hmm... something's wrong. What is it?" Vic asked, laying beside Mike.

"There's something I need to tell you. But I'm scared to." Mike admitted. Vic wrapped his arm around his little brother and squeezed him tightly.

"What is it? You know you can tell me anything." Vic whispered in his ear soothingly.

"You're not going to be happy about it though." Mike said with a sigh.

"Just tell me, Mikey. It'll be okay. I promise I won't freak out or anything."

"I'm scared though. I think you will. It's really hard to say." Mike said as he bit his bottom lip.

"Why are you so scared to tell me?" Vic asked. Mike sighed.

"Because it's... weird, I guess. Like... ugh. I don't know."

"Tell me, Mikey. Don't leave me wondering my whole life."

Mike sighed. "Okay... over the past few... months or so... I-I guess something happened that wasn't suppose to happen."

Vic looked at him with confusion. "What?"

Mike groaned and pulled himself up to where he was now sitting. Vic sat up and rested his hand on Mike's knee.

"I... I like you, Vic. I love you. More than I should." Mike finally said, covering his face with the comforter.

"Oh. That was it? I thought you meant something really bad." Vic said, chuckling. He pulled the comforter away from Mike's face and kissed his cheek.

"I guess it's good that I feel the same, huh?"

Mike looked at him, blushing red. "What?"

"Yeah. I like you, too, Mikey." Vic said with a smile. "I have for a while now. I was just kinda afraid to tell you, well, because I thought you'd hate me."

"Oh." Mike said, giggling in relief.

"So... does this mean you're going to be my boyfriend now?" Vic asked, looking down at his lap and blushing.

"Yeah... if you want to."

Vic nodded. "I want to." And then he kissed Mike's cheek and nose.

"But this has to be secret." Mike said in a whisper.

"Of course."
