                        ~Flashback~
The bell rang, signaling school was over and we could all go home for the weekend. I ran to my locker, trying to gather my things as fast as I could to avoid Bailey, a tall redheaded girl that has been bullying me since I moved to Baltimore. I zip up my backpack, and sprint towards the front doors to the bus. Just before I stepped onto the bus, I felt someone grab my arm and pull me back off the steps. This can't be good. "Where the fuck do you think you're going?" Her harsh voice growled at me.
"I-I'm going home n-now. Please leave me alo-" I was cut off by a hand sliding across my face.
"Aw, why leave without saying goodbye? Y'know I'd miss you, Raven." Her grip tightened around my arm, making me wince in pain.
The busses began to pull out of the parking lot, causing me to struggle in her arms even more. I somehow slipped out of her hands, taking off down the street. I could hear her yelling at me, her words becoming faint and quiet as I got further away. I arrived on my street, panting and out of breath. I sat down on the curb, looking down at my sleeves. Today was one of those days I decided to wear a lighter color than normal, I regretted that decision immediately. The pale blue sleeves had spots of blood everywhere Bailey had clutched her hands onto. I roll up my sleeves, seeing every scar, every memory of my past. I sigh, tears rolling down my cheeks. I didn't notice until a tear dropped onto one of the open cuts, making it sting and hurt even worse. I heard someone call my name, but I didn't pay any attention to it. Someone walked up behind me, sitting down beside me. I rolled my sleeves down as fast I could, ignoring the pain it brought. "Hey assface, you were supposed to be home an hour ago, mom is pissed." It was my brother.
