Have fun!
It was evening, the tired sun hung slowly in the darkening sky, soused in different reddisch and violet shades of colors. It was one of the many beautiful, yet slightly weird sunsets you could see everyday at Death City. The only weird thing about that, was the unsettling fact, that the big, bright sun had a mouth, big black eyes, a nose and her sunrays were simply short and pyramidal. This sun had a concrete form with sharp countours, it was very near to the earth.
At this time, the DWMA threw a great party in their big assembly room. All weapons and their meisters, including the school staff were there, except Shinigami-sama, meister Sid and Spirit, the red headed womanizer and clown of a father. Most likely he was off at some bars when he got all women there he liked, like this time again. Obviosly you weren't forced to go at this kind of party, because it wasn't official. The students thought spontaneous about it and nobody had something to object. So Shinigami-sama doesn't wanted to participate, since he had nothing to do with it, mostly he wanted to talk to Death Scythe about some serious stuff, hoping the blue colored zombie Sid could find him in his favourite pub.
The room was very well and symmetrical decorated with light creme ribbons, so who would've guess, Kid, the son of Lord Death personally was in the room with all his friends and looked amused at all the symmetric collateral food on the numerous, big, white tables. Maka was there, Soul was there and they were smiling, joking around not noticing that they got to be closer to each other as they ever were. Sometimes Soul roamed over to the tables to get him and his beautiful and cute meister something to eat. It was a little weird, but they wore the clothing they got in the Black Room (but actually it was black and dark red) in Soul's head. They liked them, in a funny way and ordered them shortly after the anniversery of their partnership. Most of the students had their partnership anniversery at this timeline, so this was one of the reasons for the party.
"Excuse me please. I need to pee, haha.", Soul smirked, glancing at Maka, who gave him a cheerful glare. He went out and headed to the toilets, who were badly far from the assembly room, because the school was big, so he had to go upstairs. He shouldn't have went out. But he couldn't know that.
The light flickered shortly when he got out of the toilet, but that doesn't agitated him much. He just slightly wondered about it and that was all. After a long way down, the first thing he recognized was the sound. The problem was, there wasn't any. And that wasn't possible. He remembered very well that loud music was played at that room, far to hear and the people talked non stop. 'Whats going on?', he wondered. The nearer he got to the door of the room, the heavier became that uneasy feeling of anxiety. And befor he opened the door he even heard baffled snorting. Opening the door, was like opening a portal to a new world. But this time it was truly horrorfying. He didn't knew back then what he recognized first. But to his bad, there he got a whole new view.
The students stook together in one corner of the room as if they were hiding from something. In the middle of the room, half stood, half lied the once nice tables, broken in thousand wood pieces, beneath all the tasty food. But what freaked Soul out, was the creepy atmosphere. The light was half turned off, maybe broken like the rest of the things in the room, like the once accurate ribbons. The loud sound was comming from Patty, kneeling on the ground. She was crying hysterically, ignoring her sisters arm on her shoulder.
"WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED HERE?", Soul yelled, his eyes widened when he saw little drops of blood next to some broken table in the middle of the room. He slowly and carefully went from the door frame to Liz and Patty. Patty lifted her face to him, looking in his eyes, telling with her glare the whole grief she felt. Then she pointed in a direction Soul doesn't even looked at the first time, but it was the most standing out.
