Gratitude is a thankful appreciation for what an individual receives, whether tangible or intangible. With gratitude, people acknowledge the goodness in their lives. It helps people feel more positive emotions, relish good experiences, improve their health, deal with adversity, and build strong relationships. It is one of the best ways to appreciate everything one has got in his/her life which might not be accessible to others. It is an attitude which comes from within.
According to a research conducted in 2015 shows that most of the people complain for not having certain things in their lives. But barley 2% of the population is being thankful for what they have.
Taking some day-to-day incidents in consideration, let’s peep into the behavior of ourselves. After seeing a friend’s brand new lavish Mercedes, most of us are flown by a muse where we imagine ourselves sitting and owning the car. But that’s not the point where a problem is originated. The trouble begins when they blame themselves for not having so. They complain for their Tata Nano.
On the other hand, let’s ask ourselves, how many of us feel privileged and really blessed when we find children of our age (or perhaps even younger) are digging for a loaf of bread in the filth roadside? Or when we see people begging to survive? Or when we get to know people are dying of starvation and we complain for not having greens served in our plates. Of course it’s sad. But we have never thought of pondering over such issues. We just get going to match our pace with the world despite of the fact that if it’s even right or not. Aren’t we truly blessed to have got every body part working so well. Ironically, they who struggle with only one hand or
survive with no feet must know the value of what they don’t have. But we? Instead of being thankful, we crave for more. The greed has no boundary.
It is widely believed that miracles happen only in dreams, fictions or on the screens. Well, just because the majority of a region or an era is in this favor doesn't mean this would lead to the right path. Let me not only confess the thought that miracles happen but also proclaim-yes it does because, “A grateful heart is a magnet for miracles.”
Yes, we all know that our life, family are the biggest gifts we all have got. But isn’t it a miracle that we are living in this world even today where the massive Covid-19 pandemic has hit the entire globe and many young lives too were lost?
Now you might be thinking “so, where the solution lies?”
The solution is very simple. Just in a word that we all are taught by our teachers and parents, but just didn’t realize the significance of it. And i.e. THANK YOU. It might sound a bit small for some and silly to others. But remember it’s never about the big moments. It’s all about the small memories which are gathered to form that big moment, just like a necklace. Every single Perl holds the value which gather for the formation of a beautiful necklace.
Today can be a turning point for all of us if we simply feel gratitude for all that we already have and all that we are in the process of manifesting for not more than at least two minutes a day till the time our Maggi noodles will be getting prepared to be paltered. Ha-ha, I can sense a beautiful grin on your face, be thankful even for that. Everything we desire is simply waiting for us in the infinite field of consciousness and gratitude will magnetize and maximize the power of manifestation.
I would now like to conclude by a very renowned quote which says, “it is not happy people who are thankful. It is thankful people who are happy.”
Express Gratitude And Let Miracles Happen :)
