Anteiku

'Kaneki, where the hell are you?'

Touka thought as she wiped the tables.

4 months after Kaneki joined the Aogiri tree, Anteiku have become eerily quiet. Nishiki lessened his idiotic behaviour, the manager always stays inside, Touka is less violent than before and the others didn't smile much. And only Hinami is the only one who brightens everyone up.

The bell rang and three familiar faces entered. Itori and Uta smiled and waved as Yomo nodded his head.

"Hey Touka-chan.." Uta smiled at her..

the trio sat down at the table near the counter. Irimi gave them 3 cups of coffee and continued to wipe the cups behind the counter with Koma.

"How's it hanging?" Itori sipped her coffee.

"Nothing much. Still trying to keep my sanity intact." Touka sighed and stopped wiping the 3rd table and looked at it.

'Kaneki is still in my mind though..'

"He'll be back... don't worry...' Yomo finally said, breaking the silence.

The bell rang again and Nishiki entered.

"Hey....." he said in a bored tone. He sighed and walked toward his locker and stuffed his things inside.

"Hey idiot, clean the windows...." Touka ordered. Nishiki rolled his eyes and proceeded to get the rag.

'Another boring day, huh?'

------------ Aogiri Tree -----

"Boss, Boss Yomori!!!!" the crazy guy banged his fist on the floor.

"I can't believe that we have to take care of him and go back here in the 20th ward..."  Ayato muttered and glared at him. He looked at the bloody ceiling, pure boredom swallowing him.

Kaneki looked at his cup of coffee and sighed.

Ayato looked at Kaneki. A sadistic grin crossed his face but faded fast.

"Ken, you want to visit my sister?" He asked in a bored tone, pretending that he wasn't planning anything idiotic.

Kaneki looked at him and declined, and proceeded to sip his coffee.

Ayato got pissed and tried again.

"C'mon, I just want to see her if she's okay..." He looked at him with a sad look...

Kaneki looked at him with a glare and stood up.  A dark shadow fell on his face.

"The last time I saw you with Touka, you we're trying to kill her...." he looked at Ayato with a piercing glare and walked out of the room.

Ayato glared at the door.

"Fine, I'm going alone..." Ayato got out of the room and started heading towards Anteiku.

Ayato didn't know that Kaneki noticed him and was following him.

Hinami walked out of the room with the manager and greeted everyone while the others smiled and waved back at her.

"Hey Hinami-chan!" Touka smiled.

Hinami ran towards her and tackled her into a hug.

"Big sis!" Hinami cheered. At that exact moment, Shuu entered and bowed.

"Bonjour!" everyone looked at him with confused faces except for Touka and Yomo. Touka sped towards him and grabbed him by the neck, pinning him on the wall behind him.
