AZURE'S POV

I released an irritated breath, I swear my brother can be so irritating sometimes. I walk proudly towards the towering bookcases, filled to the brim with adventures and tragedies.

I walk to the far back and pick up a red leather bound book randomly. Looking down I see that it is a book about the supernatural.

"Sounds interesting." I murmur.

I open the book to a random page coughing immediately from the amount of dust that clouded around me. Once I can breathe again I see that this section is about 'grim reapers'. I thought there was only one. Odd.

As I delved further into them I began to pity them, they are being punished for being 'selfish'. I wonder what they are like?

I turn the page eagerly hoping to find out more about them only to find the page ripped out. I shake the book to see a folded piece of paper. Maybe it's the page?

I unfold the paper. No.

However, I do find some elegant, cursive writing reading

            'Look for glowing chartreuse eyes'.

Well I already knew their eyecolour, but if their eyes glow then  it should be easier to point them out. Now that I thought about it that man in my dream had glowing green eyes. Maybe he's one too?

I can't tell if that scares me more or not.

I am broken from my thoughts by a knock at the door.

"Come in." I answer.

The door opens and I can hear the click of heels approaching. Turning my head I see that it is Madame red. She grins before sitting in front of me.

"I heard Ciel upset you and you were calming down in here." She sighs.

"He wasn't going to let me help with the case." I replied to her unspoken question.

"I can understand how you feel, but he only acts  that way to protect you." She consoles.

"I know but he knows that I could handle a bit of it at least." I counter.

She nods in agreement but sighs looking away. We sit like this for a few minutes until she looks back at me again. Her eyes seem to widen when they see my hand. Oh, the ring, it still won't come off. I given up at this point.

"What a pretty ring, where did you get it from?" She questions excitedly.

"I found it in the garden and it looked pretty so I've worn it since." I explained.

"I've never seen anything like it, the vines are so detailed." She admires.

"It fits the area where I found it." I smile softly.
