Zulee was now crying in his bedroom, all alone. His best friend and his love of his life is gone forever, his father is in a coma and likely to forget everything that happened, and now he is swamped with all these royal duties.
He thought he would get freedom, but in the end it was torture..
"Happy Valentine's day to me," He sobbed into his hands, curling into a ball. Fire and water swirled around him like a protective shield. He just wished the world would end.
And for a moment, it did. Time stopped for just a second, but this was enough for him to realize a blinding white light was in front of him. Like a wall, the light kept getting closer and closer, until he was completely consumed by this warm feeling.
He was never to be seen again, and the memories of him to the ones closest to him would be lost...
—— End of Flashback ——
After running for who knows how long, Taeyong finally realized that he was lost. He was standing in front of a random hotel with many guests coming in and out.
He hid his face from view, to make sure no one recognized him and shuffled his way to the nearest person to ask for directions. However, he isn't know what to ask directions for. Should he just go home, or should he find Hana.
He wished he could do the second option, but he didn't know how he could find her. So, instead he walked up to the nearest person, two girls to be exact, and prepared to ask for directions, hoping that they wouldn't recognize him.
But in fact, the two did, but Taeyong was great full for it. "Taeyong? What are you doing here? Oh! Are we getting our special gift!?" Kayla exclaimed
Taeyong looked at the two bewildered, before realizing who they were. They were the two with Hana. Hana! He knew how to get to her!
Taeyong shook his head, "No, I was actually looking for someone. Do you know where the other girl who was with you is?"
Both Kayla and Sofia looked at each other before nodded their heads. "She's, uh staying with us for the moment." Sofia said, "Why do you ask?"
Taeyong looked at the two with pleading eyes, "Can i go see her."
The two girls, hesitant at first, nodded once again and began leading Taeyong to their floor. Once at their room, Sofia knocked on the door, proclaiming that she forgot the keycard to get in, which she actually did.
A faint "coming" was heard from the other side of the door, before it opened. There stood Hana in shorts and a SuperM T-shirt (it was all she had).
She let the girls in, but didn't notice Taeyong until the last second. "What are you doing here?" She asked, a bit harshly.
Taeyong looked to the ground, "I came here to fix what was broken."
Hana stared at the man and raised an eyebrow, "And that is?"
"Us." Taeyong answered, "Can I come in."
Hana didn't want him to come in, but her roommates said otherwise, they were begging Hana to let him in, so she gave in.
Hana sat on her side of the bed and watched Taeyong as he perched himself on the TV stand and looked to Hana with sorrowful eyes, the same ones from that day.
The room was silent and still for a long time, until Kayla broke the silence, "So are you going to talk or what? If your going to say sorry for almost burning her alive you better do it now." She said before getting a slap in the arm by Sofia.
Taeyong blinked twice, "Right, um. Where should I begin..."
"How about the beginning?" Sofia suggested, "Like when you grabbed her in the collar and-" Now she got a slap from Kayla.
Taeyong nodded, "Right, the beginning." He took a deep breath and closed his eyes, "I'm sorry I didn't tell you anything before that day. I'm sorry for always lying to you and running away from my problems. I didn't know how I ended up here or how to get back, but I thought it was for the better. I thought that without me you could be better, both you and Hong. I just..." Tears began to fall as he recalled those memories, "I just didn't want you to die, especially because of me. I thought that if I acted first, you'd be okay. But I was wrong."
He looked up to see the same eyes filled with sorrow, pity, and love. The same ones he sentenced to endless torture.
He went on, "I'm sorry that I didn't recognize you this morning, or completely realize what you said to me. I was completely shocked that you were actually here that i didn't comprehend anything. This probably sounds like and excuse and i'm sorry. I'm ready to face the consequences and... I just -"
He continued to ramble and act like that same prince from years ago. The same boy Hana fell in love with. Her eyes softened as she stood up slowly and walked over to Zulee. She wrapped her arms around his neck and hugged him.
From this action, Taeyong immediately stopped talking and slowly wrapped his arms around Hana's waist, burying his head in her shoulder.
"You're lucky that I forgive easily, Zuzu." Hana whispered and pulled away from his embrace. Zulee smiled with tears in his eyes, "I guess i'm lucky." He chuckles.
"Um... Who's Zuzu?" Kayla asked, half-ruining the moment. The couple, looked at eachother and laughed.
"I am." Taeyong said, "It's from my actual name, Zulee."
"So, do we call you that or..."
Taeyong smiled, "Whichever is easier for you." He then turned back to Hana, "I should probably go and apologize to Hong."
Hana sighed, "He's going to be much harder on you, than i was. I should probably go and help you." So the two were about to leave, before Hana said her goodbyes and thanks to Sofia and Kayla.
"You're welcome, you were awesome to have around." Sofia said.
"Good luck! And I hope to get that special gift!" Kayla exclaimed, earning another slap in the arm.
And so they were off, to fix what was broken.
