Empty Words Part Three

Shawn lies cuddled close to Cameron, Nash is away on a business trip to New York and they miss him. They are spending a lazy Sunday in bed. Shawn feels nervous, he has butterflies in his stomach and he's had them for almost a month. He didn't expect to move on so easily from Taylor but Shawn finds that he doesn't miss him at all.

The way that Nash and Cameron treat him, the attention and affection that they bestow upon him is nothing like how Taylor treated him. Shawn felt like he was a trophy at times with Taylor, he never feels like that with Nash and Cam.

Even though Nash and Cam have an extra room, the 3 of them still share the huge king size bed in the main bedroom. Shawn figures as long as they don't bring it up he won't either because he loves to wake up sandwiched in between them.

Shawn realizes that he's developing feelings for the couple. He knows that it can't ever be anything more, they're in a committed relationship with each other and Shawn would never come between them. But it's nice to dream when he wakes up cuddled between the two of them.

Cameron rubs Shawn's lower back gently, he and Nash feel like Shawn is ready for more. They decide that while Nash is away, Cameron will attempt to make the first move.

Cameron feels nervous too, he's not sure how Shawn will react. He wants it to work out so badly, it's a little crazy how hard he fell for Shawn.

He starts by pressing soft kisses on Shawn's forehead, something that is not unusual for them. They love to shower affection on Shawn and Shawn loves it just as much.

Shawn lets out a sigh of contentment, he feels so safe in either of their arms, it's something that he realizes now that he never felt with Taylor.

Cameron keeps pressing soft kisses down to Shawn's cheek, he keeps watching his reaction and Shawn just presses his body closer to Cameron with a small smile on his face.

Cameron pauses and his heart starts to pound as he places his finger underneath Shawn's chin and Shawn opens his eyes and meets Cameron's. They look at each other for a few moments and then Cameron slowly leans in and kisses Shawn gently on the lips. It's a soft, unhurried kiss and Shawn responds almost immediately as he begins to move his lips over Cameron's.

Cameron's hand slips under Shawn's shirt and he caresses his lower back tenderly and he deepens the kiss. He licks at Shawn's bottom lip and then sucks on it lightly, seeking access into his mouth. Shawn's lips feel so soft and plump, Cameron feels like he could kiss him all day. Shawn parts his lips and finally allows Cameron to slips his tongue inside. Cameron grips Shawn's side as he explores Shawn's mouth with his tongue. He plays with Shawn's tongue, sliding over it and he can feel himself getting so hot and turned on. He starts to grind his hips against Shawn's and they moan softly into their kiss.

They part to catch their breaths and Shawn stares at Cameron with wide eyes and Cameron strokes his cheek gently and traces Shawn's lip with his finger. Shawn feels panicked as he realizes that he basically just caused Cameron to cheat on Nash with him.

"Stop, baby..." Cameron knows what's going through Shawn's head. "Nash knows what we're doing. In fact... we want it to happen, we've wanted it for such a long time."

Shawn tilts his head in confusion.

"Nash always had faith that one day you would return into his life. He told me all about you, Shawn. We knew that we would want you. You're so kind, beautiful and caring. Everything anyone could ever want. You're our missing piece and... we want you, baby if you'll have us." Cameron explains softly and he presses a soft kiss on Shawn's lips once he's done talking.

"You both want me?" He asks tentatively, hope blooming in his heart.

"Of course we do, how could we not? You're perfect, baby. So amazing. God, we're so lucky to have you in our lives. You make both of us happy," he whispers affectionately and Shawn presses his lips against Cameron's in a shy kiss.

They spend the day in bed, kissing and whispering to each other and it's in the early evening that they finally FaceTime with Nash.

Nash is exhausted, he's lying in his hotel bed and it feels so empty without Cameron and Shawn.

He smiles when he sees them cuddled close together so he can see them both.

"We miss you, baby." Cameron tells him softly. "We can't wait until you're back in our arms."

Shawn nods in agreement, his heart feels tight when he sees Nash's face and he wants him to come back so desperately.

Cameron decides to show Nash how things went with Shawn and he captures his lips in a deep kiss.

Nash watches them kiss and he misses them even more, he can't wait until he's there to see it in person.

"Fuck... you guys look so fucking good together," he mutters and he adjusts himself. "One more day and I'll be able to witness that in person."

They pull away and smile at Nash.

"We can't wait until you're here," Shawn tells him.

"I can't either," Nash replies softly, he traces their faces on screen. Nash fights hard to try and stay awake but eventually he has to say goodbye and hang up.

Cameron and Shawn go out to the grocery store, they hold hands as they browse through the fruit.

"Shawn?" They turn to the voice that called him. It's Taylor and he looks horrible. He's definitely not the Taylor that he was going to marry. His face and hair are unkempt, and he has dark bags under his eyes. He reeks of alcohol.

Taylor takes a step towards them and Shawn steps back instinctively. Taylor notices Cameron when he steps towards them again and he raises an accusing finger to him.

"You're the asshole who wouldn't let me see Shawn," he says and gives Cameron a hateful stare.

"You're the stupid asshole who cheated on him." Cameron spits back, a look of disgust on his face.

Taylor turns back to Shawn, a pleading look on his face.

"Babe... please just give me one more chance. I've changed I swear it," he begs him and Shawn crinkled his nose at him. Shawn looks so good and so happy, he has a glow about him that Taylor had never noticed before and it just makes him want Shawn more.

"I kind of want to thank you for cheating on me because it led me right to Nash and Cam. They're the best thing that's ever happened to me. With them I know what true love and happiness are. It's something you know nothing about," Shawn says viciously and Cameron smiles proudly at him.

"I lov-" Taylor begins but he's interrupted by Shawn.

"No you didn't because if you truly had then you would have never cheated and especially not with someone I had considered close to me," Shawn replies. " I hope you two are very happy because I know I am."

He tightens his grip on Cameron's hand and walks away with him.

Taylor stares after them forlornly, he wishes he could take back his stupid actions. Now he just drinks the memories away.

Taylor tried, he tried so hard to see Shawn again. He tried flowers and chocolates all of Shawn's favorites but the delivery was always rejected. The numbers that he had stopped working and Taylor finally gave up and attempted to return to Matt. But Matt had already moved on and no matter what Taylor told him he never came back.

So Taylor turned to alcohol and it's the only thing that lets him sleep at night when it's lonely and the memories flood back.
