CHAPTER 12: ATTACKED

I grabbed my phone and my keys and left. I didn't want to, but I did. He had that effect on me and I liked that. I got back to the dorm and Ceci was out probably with Jazz. I called my mom so I could talk to her while doing homework

Mom: Hey Songbird

Ace: Hi, Mom. I figured I'd call while doing my work.

Mom:I enjoyed seeing you and Ceci today

Ace: I missed you too, being away from home has been tough. But having your support makes things easier.

Mom: You always have my support

Ace: And I am so grateful, for you and papa. I couldn't have asked for a better family.

Mom: you better stop before I start crying

Ace: Don't cry, just know I love you.

Mom: I've got to check in on your father. I'll call you tomorrow

Ace: Okay

We said our goodbyes and I continued working on my assignments while listening to music. There was a knock on the door two hours later, I figured it was Ceci checking if she could come in. But then the knocking continued

Ace: CECI YOU'VE GOT TO STOP FORGETTING YOUR KEY

I opened the door and before I could even process who it was I was pushed inside and the door was shut. Finally processing what happened, It was Charlie.

Ace: What the hell are you doing here?!

Charlie: I came to get you back

Ace: Charlie if we're being honest you never really had me to begin with. And I'm really tired of having this conversation. So please leave.

He licked his lips and that's how I knew he was going to lie to me.

Ace: Answer one question for me, was she worth it. Tell me honestly was cheating on me everything you wanted.

Charlie: The day I lost you, I regretted everything

Ace: You know I know when you're lying to me. I bet she was pretty, and a brat, just like you. So I'm going to ask you again to leave.

Charlie: No, I know you miss me, miss us, and everything we'd used to do.

He kept walking closer to me and my room isn't very large so I started running out of room. I was running out of options. So I screamed.

Ace: HELP, HELP SOMEONE HELP ME!

He put his hand over my mouth and forced me to kiss him. Running his hands up my body. I pushed him away trying to fight him off. Thank God someone heard me and burst into my room. Mauve and Lydia started to attack Charlie, pulling him away from me. Evangeline called campus police, And I punched Charlie in the face before they got there. It hurt more than any pain I had ever felt but it was worth it. Campus police asked for a statement and once they left the girls stayed with me.

Evangeline: AP are you okay?

Ace: I'm fine, thanks to you guys.

Mauve: What happened?

Ace: I thought it was Ceci, I thought she forgot her key again.

Lydia: Ceci and Jazz made up, she's in Roosevelt Hall.

Ace: It's okay, he just kissed me. Nothing toothpaste and mouthwash can't fix.

He did more than kiss me but that's not the point
