Hannah's pov:
I looked around to make sure nobody was around. Then I entered my parents room. Well, my mom's room really. I knew she could be hiding some interesting stuff from me. Plus, I would never be allowed in here. A few times I tried opening the door only for it to be locked very well. But now I would be able to see what she could be hiding.
As soon as I entered, I saw that the room was quite large. There was a large bed in the centre. Around it were chairs that looked extremely comfy. There was a jewel encrusted carpet and an elegant coffee table. The walls had a gold looking sight to them. And one the black ceiling was a large chandelier. This was probably about the size of me when I was seven. It had jewels all around and even some precious gems.
All in all, it was breathtaking. However, I noticed that the room looked a little scruffy here and there. Some of the wallpaper was peeling off. The bed seemed like it had been a lot bigger. And there appeared to be some kind of broken part within 2 of the chairs.
But the most unusual thing was the wall. I walked up to it and felt something peculiar about it. I knocked on it and heard not a normal wall knocking, but a hollow echo. I knocked on another wall and it sounded normal. Then I knocked the strange wall and heard the strange noise.
While I was figuring out what this was, I heard footsteps down the hall. Thinking fast, I went under the bed. I saw my mom walk in and held me breath. If she saw me, I would be in a lot of trouble. I saw her walk up to the wall I was investigating and slid a part of it out of the way. Behind this part I could see an eye scanner and a pin lock. She entered some numbers in the pin lock and I saw a door open up in the wall.
Inside was a corridor which I couldn't see the end to. Mom walked in and I saw the door close behind her. She was in there for a minute before the door slid open and she exited. I saw her walk out of the room and breathed a huge sigh of relief.
I walked towards the wall and slid the section of the wall she had slid out if the way. There was the keypad and the eye scanner. I thought about how to get in since I'm bad at passwords. However, the eye scanner appeared pretty interesting. I jokingly put my eye up to it and, to my surprise, the door slid open.
???: Cool.
I jumped, wondering who was there, until I saw Austin's familiar face. He had a habit of being sneaky.
Hannah: Oh, hey Austin.
Austin: Hey Hannah. What is this?
Hannah: I don't know. Just found it. You reckon we should go inside.
Austin: We ain't gonna get this chance again.
We entered the hallway. The door closed behind us. We continued moving down the corridor. Then, after 25 minutes, we made it to a large room. The room was circular with nothing inside. It was pretty disappointing.
Hannah: I think this room would be better with something fun.
Immediately, a table appeared in front of us. On it was a Nintendo switch and some games, including smash bros and Mario party. I looked at Austin, smiling, and we both began thinking what the room could be. The room quickly shaped into the perfect fun place. We knew this would be fun.
............
After 4 hours we decided to get out. We walked down the corridor and into my parents room. I looked at the clock and saw something really weird.
Hannah: Uhhhhh....how long were we in there for?
Austin: 4 and a half hours. Why?
Hannah: Because in the alarm, it says we've been in there for 4 minutes.
He looked at me in shock, then at the clock. Then back at me. We both walked out of the room and back to my room before saying anything about it.
Hannah: What the he'll was that?
Austin: I have no idea.
We knew something deeper was going on with that room. We just didn't know what.
