~ George POV ~

Today was supposed to be perfect. I planned a nice date for Dream and me to go on. We were going to go to an amusement park, have dinner at a restaurant that is hard to reserve seats at, afterward go to the beach and take a stroll. It was meant to be a nice fun exciting day. But instead, everything was ruined when it was announced that it was going to be a rainy day.

'Just my luck. There go all of my plans down the drain.' I spent a whole week planning everything. This was the first time I had planned a date for us. Usually, it is Dream doing all the planning. I thought today would be a nice change but instead, it wasn't. Instead, we are in the living room sitting on the couch both doing our own thing.

Dream who is beside me doesn't even seem too bothered by the situation. I sighed loudly out of frustration and sadness. "What's the matter, Gogy?" Dream asks while putting his phone down and shifting his body towards me.

"Nothing." I answer. "I'm going to go up to the bedroom to take a nap. If you need anything just come wake me up." I get up from the couch and make my way upstairs to the bedroom.

As he walks up the stairs I quickly grab my phone and check the time.

'It's barely 3:30 pm giving me enough time to prepare something that'll cheer him up.' Since the time we woke up, I noticed George was upset about his plans being ruined.

I kept trying to cheer him up but nothing worked. Instead, I decided to surprise him with an indoor picnic.

I contacted an old friend of mine who I knew would be of help. I explained to him the situation and instantly he recommended a greenhouse. He knew people who rented them out for a day.

I waited until 4 pm to leave. Giving me enough time to make sure George was fully asleep and unable to hear me exit the house.

Before leaving the house I start packing up some essentials that I'll need. Such as wine glasses, plates, utensils, and blankets. I also took up my laptop which was fully charged so we could watch a nice movie.

After finishing, I quickly grab my car keys. I grabbed the umbrella almost forgetting that it was raining.

Slowly pulling out of the driveway, I make my way to the store to buy some more decorations and food. Snacks included.

2 Hours Later

I make it to the greenhouse with all the supplies. Right, when I get inside I quickly start setting up the interior. I lay a long blanket on the floor with candles and roses surrounding it. I put pillows down for a cushion. Luckily my friend had already set up a table and chairs. All I had to do was set up the snacks and food. I decided on ordering take-out since it was easier to do. I place the food inside a hotbox so that the food is kept warm. I had ordered us some steak with some sliced-up potatoes on the side. I quickly set up the snacks and put the wine in the middle with the glass bottles.

I had bought flowers to give to him when he walks in. I set them to the side for now.

Finally, after an hour of decorating, I had completed everything.

I had yellow fairy lights hung up going to every corner of the greenhouse. Along with a pathway of rose petals and candles.

'Phew, that was more work than I anticipated...' I wipe my face and start heading out. I check my watch and see that it is now 7 pm. Giving me only 30 minutes to quickly get back home and pick up George.

30 Minutes Later

I quickly rush out of my car and go to the bedroom. Only to find my adorable boyfriend still asleep. 'Aww... As much as I hate to ruin this beautiful sight. I must wake him up.'
