chapter 1

"And there are magical creatures all around the forest to protect it. Some are small and some are huge, larger than an elephant, but everyone lives peacefully. The locals say that if you see the forest spirit then you are definitely a chosen one." 

"Woooowwww really mommy!! Do u think I could ever see that.??" 8 year old Myung Hee asked her mom as she looked at her with bright eyes." This is just a story my love." Her mother said as both of them were lying on the bed.

" But mommy!! Your stories sounds so real, as if you have seen them with your own eyes."

"I know right. I'm the best." Her mom said as she giggled at her child's cute behaviour. "Also I feel like you have something to confess right?!!"

"I-I don't know w-what you are talking about??"

"Lee Myung Hee, you know I hate lies."
"Okayyyyyy!!! I'm sorry I went near the forest today." She said as she tried to hide inside her blanket because she knew that's the only thing her mom told her not to do.

"Sweetie!!! I told you it's a dangerous place. Why would you go there again and again even after I told you not to?? Do you know how worried I was." She said as she made the little child flinched.

"But mommy... I feel like its calling me. You know I heard something, just like one of your stories. I feel like its calling me that-" little myung Hee couldn't complete her sentence as her mother stopped her.

"It can't happen my love. It's just a story and you know that. That forest is filled with deadly animals. What if something happens to you?!? Please don't go there again. I'm really worried about you."

"Okay mommy. I promise I'll never go there again." She said as she hugged and gave her mother a good night kiss.

"Sleep well my love. Wake you early if you wanna attend your class.

"Really!!!!!! You really agreed to it!!!!" Myung Hee said with full excitement as she was begging for the past few weeks to allow her to attend the class.

"Anything for my precious daughter." Her mother said while turning the lights off and closing the door. "Good night."

Myung Hee mom's pov:—

I closed the door and went towards my room, still being worried about her. It's the 5th time this month. Should I tell him to keep a watch on the forest more carefully?? But he's probably busy with his own job!! But I have to inform him. Aassehhhhh what am I suppose to do exactly. Myung Hee is a well behaved and nice child so I think she wouldn't go there again, but I'm still worried. For now lets just sleep.

Time skip:–
The next day at 6:30pm.
Myung Hee's pov:—

I came back from my class. Today was the first day and its was really exciting. I really wanna tell mom about it, but I still can't forget about the sound I heard coming from the forest. I really wanted to know what is inside it. I'm not scared of anything but I promised mom that I'll never go there so I have to keep it. I really don't want her to be worried about me. As I got near my house i saw a black car and a man coming out from it, then he went straight inside my house.

" Ummmm I feel like I have seen him."

I went further and tried to peep through the window. I was on my tip toes struggling to look inside and figure out what is going on inside. And then I the man taking to my mom. And mom looked worried and they both were maybe arguing about something. I could not hear their conversation but I could feel it was something serious. I tried hard to figure out about the situation but then someone tapped my shoulder and made me startled.

"Its wrong to eavesdrop you know." I heard a boy voice, I turned and looked at him. He looked like he was around my age or maybe older.

"I wasn't. It's my house and I can do what every I want."

"Still, listening to adults conversations isn't good."

"Who are you??" I asked him.

"I'm someone you'll definitely meet in future. And at time I promise I'll introduce myself properly coz if I say this now you'll probably won't believe me." Okayyyy but seriously. What is wrong with this kid. Who is he?? And why is he here?? And the most important question.... why are there 2 more kids inside the car and staring at me.

"I don't think so. I don't want see you again. You are weird. Mom said to stay away from weird people." I said as I took a few steps back from him.

"What are you holding in your hands?? Can I see it. It looks pretty."

"This??? Oohhhh. This is a necklace,and I just made it. Its pretty ri–" I couldn't compete my sentence as that boy snatched my necklace.

"For now I'm gonna keep it with me. The next time when we meet, I'll return it." He said ran inside the car and locked the door.

For some unknown reason I couldn't move and was standing still. Until I heard the door opening and I came back to my senses. I saw the man and my mom coming out.

"Good evening." I bowed as I said and the man bowed too and went straight inside the car and soon they left.

"Omo. Since when are you standing here. Also did something happen?? You look confused??"
My mom asked as he picked me up in her arms, and then I started crying.

"Moooooommmmmmyyyyyyyy!!!!! *still crying*

" oh my. Who made my princess cry?? Don't worry. I have made chocolate pudding for you. Lets eat it. Okay??!!!"

"Hmmm. I responded while my nose was still running and my mom tried to wipe it.

😅😅 I know this is very random but I can't stop thinking about this story. Tbh it was something I wrote way back when I was naive and stupid so if you find it cringe then I'm very sorry, ofcourse I changed a lot of things so it would be more interesting and less complicated.
Even I'm not sure how this story will turn out or end so I'm also looking forward to it😂😂 I know it sounds very weird and lame idea to start a new ff instead of updating the previous one, but what to do. I get a random ray of motivation at 3am so I start writing it. Also don't forget the check out my previous story. Well that's it for now. Hope all my dear reads will enjoy this one.
