Louis and I just ran around the empty streets once we got out of the party. You know, just laughing and telling each other the most random stories when the rain swiftly poured on us.
"It's raining!" Louis laughs. "Over there!" he points at a telephone booth.
I laugh as he closed the door. My dress was already soaking wet and so was his suit.
"Oh, well." Louis laughs turning to me.
Now obviously the booth was too small to fit us both in, but we managed.
"Well..." I chuckle. "Look at us!"
Then Louis does this thing I can't exactly explain. But when he does it, it feels like he moves in very slow motion. When he casually looks away while laughing then he looks back at you.
"You are so beautiful." Louis whispers, leaning his face closer and closer while I moved mine too.
And that was it. I was again, able to lock lips with the only boy I've ever loved.
Toni's right. I have been in love with my best friend for as long as I even knew. I thought about so much on how I could fit Louis in my future, but I was wrong, he is my future.
He's part of it the minute I first locked my eyes on him.
"Louis." I cut our kiss. "Willow." I walk out of the booth and it was still raining outside.
"Willow broke up with me!" Louis explains.
I walk closer to him. "What?"
"Willow is great, she's beyond great!" he begins. "She says I use too many emojis, and that watching playing the piano was for weirdos."
"But she also said,"
"She also said I had feelings for someone else."
"And I think she's right," he says. "See, I know this girl. She's super sweet and funny, smart. But most importantly..."
"She's the love of my life."
"I mean look at us!" he raises his hands. "We're outside and it's raining!"
I chuckle.
"Does this girl know?" I walk a lot closer to Louis.
"She does now."
I knew Louis meant me. Because I also mean him. I just can't right now. I need time to think.
"Lou..." I caress his cheek.
"You don't have to, now." he holds my hand. "Let's do this the right way. For once let's convince ourselves that we're just a boy and a girl, not friends."
"Three dates, and your mine."
