The Potter Twins and the Sorcerer's Stone

It was after the winter holidays and the four friends had reunited at last. They had shared their winter festivities with each other before discussing the gift Rose had received and who had given it to her.  The group sat out in the courtyard whilst holding their conversation.

"So let me get this straight........Malfoy gave you that charm bracelet to thank you for saving his life?" Hermione asked, pointing to the bracelet on Rose's wrist.

"Yeah...I mean, I guess so. That doesn't change the fact that he is usually a jerk but... it is strange." 

The others nodded in agreement at her point.

"So.....why would Malfoy give you, of all people, a beautiful yet kind of creepy thing like that?" Ron asked puzzlingly.

"Well I don't know but it could be enchanted with bad magic. Maybe you should take it off, Rose..." Harry spoke concerned for his sister.

"I know he's a Slytherin, Harry, and a bad person but...I just- feel like he gave this to me for something other than to hurt me...." Rose said trying to make a claim.

"Are you crazy Rose?! This is Malfoy we are talking about! MALFOY! He will never change and will never be nice, especially not to us!"

"Harry, as crazy as it sounds...I agree with Rose..."

"Great! Now you are both crazy!" 

"Harry, mate. Just hear them out, for bloody sake!" Ron scolded Harry with a surprisingly firm voice.

"Okay...fine." Harry turned to them and let them talk.

"Look Harry, I think the reason Malfoy gave Rose the gift....well, it might be odd to say but...I think..." Hermione spoke.

"What?! What's so odd that even you couldn't say it?!"

"She thinks Malfoy has a crush on me! There it's said and done!" Rose spoke with full confidence to her brother.

Harry looked at her with a glare.

"There is no way Malfoy could like you. No way whatsoever. And you better not think of telling me you like him back!"

"Wait, you think I like Malfoy?! How daft are you Harry? There is no way I'd fall in love with someone as cruel as him!" 

"Well good, because I don't want you near him until I've gotten better information about this situation. Who knows if he's telling the truth or just trying to lure you into a trap......I don't want to lose you, Rose. Not again, and not ever."

Hermione and Ron watched the twins with sympathetic smiles.

"You won't lose me, Harry. You and I, we will always find a way back to each other. It isn't like we were born twins for no reason." Rose hugged her brother as she spoke.

"Well, I am sorry I yelled just now. I just, really don't want you getting hurt. Promise me you won't keep anything from me. Whatever it is you can always tell me things."

"I promise Harry, and I am sorry for not telling you in the first place. I was just afraid you would react the exact way that you did. I didn't want to let you down since I don't even know why Malfoy gave me this. I don't want to give it back but I don't want to give it away either. It really is beautiful and as long as it not enchanted with dark magic, I'd like to keep it."

Harry sighed while processing her decision. He looked at Ron who nodded for him to do the right thing.

"Alright Rose, if that is what you want then I support you. Just, have a teacher check it for dark spells before wearing it again okay?"
