It was very early in the morning when Lily woke up, she stared at the wall. She heard birds and sheep outside. She wasn't the one to just positively waking up that early but the sound of the animals were motivating her.
'They need me.' she thought and got up, still tired and getting goosebumps as her feet touched the cold floor. She got herself some new clothes and changed into them after taking a bath. She was wondering if her dear brother would come over that day. She hoped for it. She quietly outside, not even eating breakfast. She didn't need it she thought, her animals were more important. She went to the barn and got greeted by a lot of impatient sheep wanting to go out to the fields. She knew she had to lead them to a new spot and wondered how she was going to do that. The dog that was always with her, always helped her, passed away recently, she never had the chance to even get a new one. She also never even wanted a new one. It felt like she'd replace her old one with it. Should she ask the neighbor for help? She was aware that the man wouldn't say no if she'd ask nice, but she didn't want to bother anyone. It was hard for her to ask for help. But she knew that she had to for the sake of her dear animals. She got nervous as she stood infront of the man's house, she took all the Courage she had to do it. She sighed before the other opened the door and smiled as he did. ".... Good morning Sir... Could... Could you help me with getting my sheep to a new field...? My dog passed away... And... You're the only one nearby who has a herding dog... I would bake you a cake... Or lunch maybe...!" she said nervously.
The old man nodded and smiled as he accepted the favor of the girl. She was really thankful and went with him. They did it together and talked all they while being outside, just watching the sheep and sitting in the grass, Lily of course invited him for some cake and coffee, and as it got late, they left to bring the sheep back and have cake and coffee, while the cake was in the oven, the doorbell rang, she quickly went there to see her dear brother. "Vash!" she said, happily smiling. She let him in before giving him a hug. She was happy, not expecting any of this to happen, her day really went better then she ever expected.
