Still Alex's P.O.V

"THE DWARF HAS HER?" My voice hit a higher pitch as I shouted.

Pucks nostrils flared mirroring the anger I felt. "Where?"

The cat gave him an extremely dirty look. "How am I supposed to know?" He rolled his eyes. "I recognised his ogres scent that's all I know."

"Who is the dwarf?" Puck said through his teeth.

"Tomrin. He and his little gang are absolute outcasts." Hunter said disinterestedly. "They were exiled many years ago. And hadn't shown up until now."

"We have to go find her." I said feeling panicked.

"Agreed." Harrison said. "Let's go."

And so we left straight away. We had to walk so that Hunter could follow the scent. After four, long, torturous days. We found the house. It was in the middle of a neighbourhood. How had no one noticed?

The door was locked. So we knocked and waited. Listening.

A few moments later there were footsteps and the door opened a crack. We pushed it open all the way and barged in. There was an elf and an ogre. The elf had opened the door. So I smacked him over the head with the palm of my hand, on just the right place to knock him out. Harrison and Puck dealt with the ogre and then the dwarf sauntered out of the room.

He was in the room. Alone. With her.

I was blinded by my fury.

What had he done to her?

Pure fury.

I lunged forward and grabbed him by his shirt at the neck. I was about to snap his neck when I heard her whimper. My anger faded and concerns filled me. I threw him towards Puck and Harrison to deal with and ran into the room.

She was weak. So weak. You could see she was barely alive.

She moved as if it pained her. Slowly. And looked up at me.

"Alex." She said in a breath that barely came out as a whisper. Then her eyes rolled back in her head and she passed out.

I ran over to her. She was lying on her side, her one arm stretched out above her head. There was a needle in her arm, he was taking her blood. Fury paced through me in waves that came stronger with each heartbeat. I breathed to calm myself, I called Hunter.

"What must I do?" I asked when he came in.

"I love how you just assume I know everything. Is it because I'm a Cheshire cat?" He growled. I thought only dogs growled. "Or is it my age?" He said sarcasticly.

"Hunter!" I was paniking.

"Fine." He said. "Tear a piece of your shirt long enough to tie around her arm." I followed his instructions as he said them. "Then pull the needle out slowly and wrap the strip of material around her arm immidiately." I did as I was told. She squirmed a bit under my grasp. She was too weak to move at all though. The next moment her whole body went limp in my arms.
