The Boy Next Door

The new boy

I was wearing a blue scarf with a white shirt beneath with my blue denim jeans and my grey boots with a tiny bow. Then I grabbed my book bag which was blue a dark blue. I looked at my self I wasn't that pretty I had dark brown hair down to my stomach and dark brown eyes. Brown eyes aren't special to anyone but my best friend Maddie. She's there for me but that's enough chit chat.

I ran down grabbed a piece of bacon and ran out the door. I always sat by myself on the bus because I was a loser. But the bus wasn't here yet it came in three minutes. There was a sold sign on the house next door. That was weird because no one ever bought that house ever since my dad died. I was furious even with a piece of bacon in my mouth. I saw a black haired kid inside the window. Yeah um I'm not stalking don't worry. He looked nervous but then he looked straight at me and smiled. He had a crooked smile. It didn't mean it was a bad smile. I realized the bus was here and I got on.
" Good morning Maria." Larry said ( my bus driver )
" Morning."
" I have your seat saved right here."
" Thanks."
I looked back into the house and saw him wave. Was he waving to me? I don't know but I could feel myself get warmer and warmer.
We were finally at school. It was three stories high. Made out of red bricks that's it just bricks.
I got off as quickly as I could and went to my locker to see Maddie standing there.
" Hey." She said and smiled she had no more braces.
" Hi." I replied.
" Did anyone bully you cause ima beat the crap out of them."
" Nope well not yet."
Maddie is my best friend as you can tell more like my sister. She has brown hair. Light brown hair and she's tough but she has a warm heart too but she never shows it.
The bell rang.
" See you at lunch." Maddie said. She has different classes except for one of them and that's drama club.
" Yeah you too."
I watched her run to class. When I turned around I saw the populars. Which includes Hannah Gracie and some other girls but also boys which are Brandon Luke and Jackson. But before I went to got to the library and write I saw the boy. All the girls were checking him out except for me. He always winked to everyone and sometimes he even waved. But when he saw me he smiled.
" Aww hey Maria what do you have here. " Gracie said.
" Nothing."
Gracie took my journal out of my hands. And started to laugh. And of course everyone else did to. Except for him. He walked up to her and "accidently" hit it out of her hands.
" Sorry." He said to her but Gracie just twirled her hair.
" Don't say sorry just keep talking". and she started to go and touch his hand. But he jerked it away.
I grabbed my notebook and ran. I couldn't help but blush a little too.
