"Let's go, Kaitlyn! We need to buy our wristbands before they run out," said my best friend, Matalin. We were supposed to meet my boyfriend, Brenden, and Matalin's soon-to-be boyfriend, Caleb, at the fair.
"I just called Bren. Him and Caleb just got there and said they would get our wristbands before they ran out," I said as I finished straightening my hair and walked out of Matalin's bedroom. "So, how are you and Caleb going?" I ask Matalin as I grabbed my car keys and walked out the door.
"We talked on the phone for, like, three hours last night. He flirted with me the whole call, but he just doesn't have the guts to ask me out yet, I guess."
"Sucks.. You guys would be adorable together," I said as Matalin and I got in my car. "You guys have been crushing on each other forever."
"Well, he said he needed to ask me something tonight, so maybe tonight is the night!"
"Awesome! I can't wait to see them!" I said as I turned up my radio. Matalin and I danced and sang at the top of our lungs until we pulled into the fairgrounds.
