Chapter 7- The party O_o

It was now after school and George was starting to get butterflies in his stomach just thinking about going to this party tonight. Wait why? It's not like he liked Clay... What was he thinking of course he did but why? Just the overall nerves of it all got George going crazy. All he wanted was an explanation? Apology? he didn't even know.

" OHHH GOGYY" someone yelled while grabbing George from behind into a little hug. George recognized it from anywhere.

"Oh hey Lili..."

"GEORGE I'M SO EXCITED TO GET YOU READY TONIGHT YOU'RE GONNA LOOK GREAT!" Lili said while grabbing George's shoulders shaking him back and forth

"Yah yah whatever Lili, it doesn't even matter how I look because all I am doing is going there to talk to Clay and see what he wants, then leave maybe with a drink or two.."

"Well at least look good while doing it! This is your first party since like 2 years ago! c'mon let's goooooooooo" Lili said grabbing George's wrist and dragging him back to his house. 

As they walked in the front door of George's house they were greeted by his mum. 

"Hey sweetie! Hey Lili" George's mom said with a wide smile on her face, she loved when George brought Lili over, They always wanted them to date even though George had explained multiple times to his parents that they were just best friends, nothing more. it got really annoying eventually.

"Hey mum, me and Lili are going to go get ready for a party tonight, is it okay if I go?"

"OF course darling! You haven't gone to one of those in a while.. Ooo I am so happy for you! Ok have fun, but not to much fun you two." George's mom said while winking at them both. George just gave her an awkward laugh before pushing Lili up the stairs quickly.

"Sorry about my mum, again. You know how she is.." George said while closing the door to his room.

"Hey don't sweat it Gogy, We have talked about this before, I really don't care at all because you know I'll always be your best friend!" Lili said with a warm relieving smile.

"Thanks Lili so lucky to have you as my friend-"

"BEST FRIEND YOU MEAN!" Lili said interrupting George.

"yah yah whatever haha" George said now feeling a little less tense. 

"OK now it's time to get you all dazzled and glammed up!" Lili said pushing George down on the bed while running to his closet tearing it open. "Ok wow you have so many good clothes! OOO I REALLY LIKE THIS TOP!" Lili said in excitement as she pulled out a black T-shirt with a flower on the top right corner. She then pulled out a long sleeved white top with a collar and a baggy pair of jeans. She then ran to Georges dresser and pulled out a pair of socks with a daisy embordered on it and grabbed a pair of checkered laced up black vans.

"Lili it looks like your having fun! haha" George said playing with the edges of his sweater.

"Yup! now put this on." She said as she threw everything at him. She then turned around to go back in the closet searching for something else. George picked up the clothes examining them before quickly taking off his clothes and replacing them with the ones Lili had thrown at him. Lili then jolted out of the closet with a confused look on her face.

"George where do you keep all your jewelry?" 

"It's in the bathroom" He was then caught by surprise as Lili grabbed the side of his shirt pulling him to the bathroom. She then started searching through his drawers before pulling out a couple of rings and a chain. "Put these of pretty please!" She then turned the sink on wetting her hands before turning George towards her and ruffling up his hair with her hands that were damp.
