My best styles of dance are contemporary, lyrical and ballet and my worst styles of dance are acro, jazz and tap.
My only best friend on the team is Hannah and my enemies are Lilly, Brady, Elliana, Sarah, Pressley and Gianina.
It's week 9 and we walk into the studio to do the pyramid without Elliana since she is doing her homeschooling, I'm the star of the team and I'm Miss Abby's favourite and I'm little miss perfect and I can't do anything wrong.
My mom died when I was 10 years old from cancer and my father remarried to Hope Marshall when I was 12 years old, my father was abusive towards Hope and I and he even went as far as beating as beating the both of us. When I was 13 years old, my father passed away from a heart attack leaving behind Hope and I with all of his money for Hope and I to live lavishly lives.
Hope is a good person, she is kind, supportive and fiercely protective of me, she was also a dancer when she was younger and she trained with Miss Abby and she was even Miss Abby's favourite back then and Miss Abby has a soft spot for my family now.
Miss Abby does the pyramid and I am on top of the pyramid again, I look around at the other girls who look mad expect for Hannah who looks happy for me, the team hates me because I am the favourite. They often call me spoiled, rich girl, a freak, orphan and other names, the other moms also attack me because Abby likes me more than their kids. Ann then said "But Miss Abby, she didn't have a solo or a duet last week, so why is she at the top of the pyramid?" "Because she lead the group dance to the first win without Brady" "So the kid who didn't have a solo or a duet gets on top of the pyramid just because she lead the group dance to a win?, that doesn't even make any sense at all" Ashley said to Miss Abby before Miss Abby said to her "Shut your mouth Ashley!, it's my studio and I decide who goes on top of the pyramid and who is at the bottom of the pyramid!" Miss Abby then said "Alright this week, we-" Joanne then said interrupting her "But why is it fair that a kid who only completed in the group dance gets on top of the pyramid?, I'm just questioning because it's only when a kid has won with a solo that they get on top of the pyramid" "Don't you know when to shut your mouth Joanne?!?!, the last time your kid had a solo, she didn't get to perform it because I pulled it because you and her were making a fuss about her having to wear slippers on stage and the whole concept of the solo being about a character that she was portraying!, now I would like to get on with the assignments for this week so if I hear another word out of your mouths about Vanessa now, your kid will not being getting solos for the rest of the season" The moms went quiet as Miss Abby said "Alright, this week, I am going to be tougher and meaner then ever before because we are competing right here in Pittsburgh for the first time in years, we are attending Ignite Dance Live and I'm sure that every studio out there is going to be coming for us, it is so important that we walk in there representing the legacy of the ALDC and then we have the added fact of a guest this week, not only are competing in our own backyard but I've also invited JoJo here" We then clapped and we were shocked about it before Miss Abby said "JoJo is coming here to inspire our soloists because this is kinda where it all started for her, the solos are JoJo solos but they're not just solos the way that JoJo did them, they're JoJo solos on crack" We then laughed before Miss Abby said to Yolanda "Elliana will be performing a solo" Everyone clapped for Elliana before Miss Abby said to Lilly "Lilly will be performing a solo" Everyone then clapped for Lilly before Miss Abby said to me "And Vanessa will be performing a solo" Everyone then clapped for me and I can tell that they weren't happy that I got a JoJo solo expect for Hannah who was happy that I got a JoJo solo, Miss Abby then said "Vanessa will also have a duet this week with someone who isn't in the room right now" Everyone then clapped before Miss Abby said "The group routine is based on the Bermuda Triangle and Vanessa is the lead of the group dance, the Bermuda Triangle, people disappear never to be seen or heard from again, instead of disappearing, this dancer disappeared and now they're back"
